1999 Volkswagen T4 Transporter
This is Daisy, our much-loved campervan!She is a retro VW T4 transporter, built in 1999. She's a two berth, with a two-litre petrol engine, a classic Bilbo’s conversion, with a roof that pops up to provide full standing room. She has a lovely atmosphere with a tape player, reading lights and fairy lights in the roof. She can take five people for a drive (four full seatbelts and one lapbelt), and can sleep two adults comfortably as the back seat folds down to form a large double bed.She is equipped with a sink, a double burner hob, a grill and a three-way fridge (gas, hookup and battery when driving along), the fridge also comes with a small freezer compartment. If the campsite has a hookup, then there are two plugs useful for a portable kettle (included) and other appliances. USB chargers for 12v cigarette lighter and 240v main sockets included. There are three drawers full of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans for you to use, included in the rental price. She comes with a bike carrier attached to the back of the van, which can carry two bikes. While stationary, the front passenger seat can swivel, making for more sociable mealtimes.For an additional charge, an awning can be provided to attach to the side of the van, increasing space and with additional sleeping for two more adults. We include camping chairs and a table on request, and can also provide bedding. We also include a few indoor and outdoor games for you to enjoy, come rain or shine.Extras (per trip):
