The town is known for the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, which hosts the American Folk Festival in the summer as well as a variety of concerts and shows throughout the year. You'll also find plenty of restaurants to choose from, ranging from upscale seafood restaurants to homey New American and Italian diners.Also in the area is the Hollywood Casino Hotel and Raceway, which is one of the largest casinos in New England. You can try your luck at one of their games or watch a horse race while visiting. The Bangor Mall is a short drive away as well, which has a huge selection of chain and local shops, popular restaurants, and a movie theater. In this area, you will also find supermarkets, pharmacies, auto repair shops, and any other essentials you might need.
