The city-owned and operated park consists of 40 wooded acres with easy access to Lake Superior beaches, the city bike path, and the Noquemanon Trail Network. There is also a small beach at the park as well as picnic areas, drinking fountains, and a playground. The annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival is held here every year, celebrating authentic music styles including Cajun, bluegrass, Celtic, folk, and acoustic blues, as well as various forms of dance. There are musician-led workshops, open jams, and food concessions too.Be sure to check out the Hiawatha National Forest when you are RV camping at the Marquette Tourist Park Campground. This forest contains undeveloped shoreline from three of the five Great Lakes. It is also home to four discrete Great Lakes islands: Grand Island National Recreation Area, Round Island, Government Island, and St. Vital Island. The five ranger districts provide information, education, and nature-based programming. There is an app to facilitate self-guided tours of the forest. Other recreational opportunities here include water activities, winter sports, beaches and dunes, climbing, fishing and hunting, multi-use trails, nature and wildlife viewing, and photography.You can also experience the spectacular scenery of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with your rental motorhome at the Marquette Tourist Park Campground. The natural features have been shaped by human hands and history from logging to the iron industry. The park is home to many native species of amphibians, birds, insects, invertebrates, fish, spiders, reptiles, and mammals. Book and gift stores in the Munising Falls Visitor Center and the Grand Sable Visitor Center offer park merchandise, apparel, collectibles, books, hiking medallions, educational toys, and gifts and souvenirs. Especially scenic sites include the Pictured Rock Cliffs, the North Country National Scenic Trail, Grand Sable Banks and Dunes, Miners Castle, Chapel Rock and Beach, and Twelve Mile Forest.

How does check-in work?

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
