Wesleyan Woods Campground

Wesleyan Woods Campground is located just outside the small town of Vassar in east-central Michigan. Although it's not far from several major towns and cities, it is surrounded by woods, and the Cass River runs through the campground. It is a two-hour drive from Detroit, the largest city in Michigan, as well as a two-hour drive from Grand Rapids and a 90-minute drive from Lansing. The shores of Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron are also not far from the campground.The campsites at Wesleyan Woods Campground are available with full hookups or water and electric hookups only. There are bathhouses located throughout the park with modern restrooms and heated showers. There's also a dump station at the back of the campground. A variety of fun activities are offered too; there's a small lake for catch-and-release fishing and swimming, with a sandy beach to relax on. You can also go canoeing and kayaking in the canal.Wesleyan Woods Campground has a playground, putt-putt, disc golf, volleyball, horseshoes, and basketball, so you'll never run out of things to do. There are also trails for hiking, biking, and ATVs. On the weekends, the campground staff operate a climbing wall, ropes course, zip line, a water slide, and a hayride.
