Temperance River Campground

There’s no better way to unwind and feel at ease than surrounding yourself with the beauties of untouched nature, and what better place to do it than the Land of 10,000 Lakes – Minnesota. It has countless magical places where you park your RV rental, and one of them is Temperance River Campground, sitting on the shore of Lake Superior. Campers can choose from sites with electric connections or no hookups – most of the campsites are drive-in, and there are a couple with pull-through access. Amenities include showers and toilets, as well as firewood and ice that can be purchased on-site.

Nature is one of the biggest reasons to visit the Arrowhead Region of Minnesota, and camping at Temperance River Campground puts you close to all the amazing spots in the region. Adventurers who want to roam freely among lush trees can travel to one of the several national and state forests just a couple of hours away. If you prefer to watch the sunrise or sunset reflect on the lake surface, take your campervan rental to one of the state parks lining the shore of Lake Superior or some of the countless inland lakes that you can get to in no time.

In addition to unparalleled nature, you can also find some interesting cities where you can spend a day relaxing and sightseeing. Duluth is waiting for you on Lake Superior, home to the unique Aerial Lift Bridge and the historic Glensheen Estate. If you turn your Schroeder camper rental in the opposite direction, you will arrive at Thunder Bay, a Canadian city that attracts visitors with the interesting history of Fort William Historical Park and the untamed beauty of Kakabeka Falls. A few hours on the road separates you from Minneapolis and its twin city and state capital, St. Paul.
