They are a subrange of the northern Appalachian Mountains and the most rugged mountains in New England. Several of the higher peaks contain an Alpine tundra. The range is heavily visited due to its proximity to Boston, New York City, and Montreal.
Maine driving trips along the coast are beautiful. Many people like to take Route 1 since it’s smooth, scenic, and parallels the Maine coast.Other things to noteTo Avoid being charged extra fees: Please, no smoking, and no pets. 5.0We had a great camping trip with George’s van! Communication beforehand and during the trip was great. We also had a video to refer to if we had any questions during the trip in addition to George’s check-ins. The van ride super comfortable, it was well equipped, comfortable to sleep in or dine in when the weather was dreary one day. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again!

5.0The RV was in excellent shape and met our needs and expectations. George had everything you may need to accommodate, from bedding to dishes, soap, cleaning supplies, etc. He was in regular communication with us, always checking in. We stayed at several campgrounds so we didn't use all of the amenities in the van, but they were there if we needed them. Overall, it was a great experience and gave us great insight on what to expect if we were ever ro buy a van vs RV vs tent lol. Excellent host and very personable. One note. If you are bringing your own bedding in addition to luggage, let him know ahead of time in order to save the storage space for your things. The bedding he provides was great, but it left us having to move our personal bedding and luggage on the daily. No slight to George, like I said everything was available and comfortable.

5.0From beginning to end our host was available for questions or concerns. The van was equipped with everything you may need to camp to have a great time. We traveled to the South with my elderly mother who needed oxygen 24/7. The generator always worked well which was very helpful. The van was very clean and efficient. The van met our expectations.

5.0This was our first time camping in an RV. George walked us through all the steps and was available for questions. He checked on us frequently to make sure we were doing all right. The van was great. It was well equipped including with linens, dishes, flatware, and cooking pots. This made it much easier for us since we were flying to a family reunion and picking up the van once we arrived. Would highly recommend
