When you are planning on camping with an RV in the Racine, Ohio area, you’ll need a place to park and stay and play. The Kountry Resort Campground is a great choice all around. The resort offers four stocked fishing lakes, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a game room, a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, cornhole boards, and a horseshoe pit. Other campground amenities include restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, a trading post/camp store, and WiFi.Sites at Kountry Resort Campground can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet. Pull-through sites are available. Campsites have fire rings and are available with full hookups, water and electric hookups, or electric hookups only. Service is 20/30/50-amp. The campground is family-friendly and pet-friendly.

The Great Outdoors

Enjoy the great outdoors and a great sense of community when you visit Star Mill Park with your rental motorhome near the Kountry Resort Campground. This municipal park features sports fields, a playground, open green space, picnic shelters, restrooms, benches to sit, and plenty of places to stroll. There is also a skate park and views of the river. Star Mill Park hosts several special events every year, including the famous Party in the Park, holiday celebrations, a light show, and live music and other performances.You can also take your Racine camper rental to Strouds Run State Park to experience the great outdoors. This 2,606-acre park features hardwood forest, rugged terrain, and a scenic lake. There are also mounds and fortifications from when the Adena Indians lived here. The park is now home to white-tailed deer, foxes, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, and songbirds. Largemouth bass and crappie live in Dow Lake. There is a 700-foot sand beach; changing areas, restrooms, and drinking water are available. There is also a playground, basketball court, and volleyball court. Other recreational activities include scuba diving, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and hunting, picnicking, sledding, and cross-country skiing. Boats are available for rent. Pets are welcome.The Chief Cornstalk Wildlife Management Area is also easily accessible when you rent a camper near Kountry Resort Campground. This protected area covers 11,772 acres and features hardwood forest and hills ranging from gently rolling to moderately steep. There is a five-acre lake that is stocked with trout and also contains largemouth bass, bluegills, and channel trout. A 200-yard shooting range is open to the public. Game hunting prospects include deer, squirrel, grouse, and turkey. Furbearers include mink, fox, muskrat, and raccoon. Other recreational opportunities include hiking, snow sports, and nature and wildlife viewing.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
