Admire the colors of Cantwell Cliffs and find your way through one of its narrows known as the Squeeze – there is no end to the magnificent places in this park, so you might as well stay for a while in your rental RV. If you happen to come during the winter, don’t worry – there are organized winter hikes that will take you to frozen waterfalls and let you see the park in a new light.Adventurers who are looking for a seemingly endless wilderness area where they can disappear from the outside world can pay a visit to Wayne National Forest, less than an hour's drive away from the campground. Hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails meander through the forest and RV camping is made even better by the lush green vegetation. One way to explore the forest is taking a ride on the Covered Bridge Scenic Byway, but you can also opt for horseback riding or ATV driving. Lake Vesuvius is one of the most picturesque areas of the park, perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing.Spending a couple of hours on the road is definitely worth it because it will take you to one of the largest state parks in Ohio – Salt Fork State Park. Swimmers and boaters can take part in their favorite activities on Salt Fork Lake, while those who remain on dry land can go hiking, play a game of golf, or visit the archery range. As you move through the tall trees, you will come upon clear streams and get a chance to unwind as you listen to nothing but sounds of untouched nature and see only wilderness for miles around.

Questions about RVs?

Q.

What type of RV should I choose?

A.

Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

You’ll also want to consider amenities. For example, if you’re planning to cook on the road, you’ll want a kitchenette. If your campground doesn’t have public restrooms, you’ll want to search RVs with bathrooms. Check out full descriptions of our models to help you decide here.

Q.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?

A.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

Q.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
