The resort offers a pond for fishing and swimming, an in-ground swimming pool, a gaga ball pit, miniature golf, a recreation hall, a playground, sand volleyball, basketball, and a horseshoe pit. Planned activities throughout the year include breakfasts, hayrides, and more. Other campground amenities include restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, a camp store, and WiFi.

The campsites at Timberwoods Camping Resort may be back-in or pull-through. RV sites have full hookups, cable hookups, and fire rings. Service is 30/50-amp. The campground is family-friendly and pet-friendly.

The Great Outdoors

You can appreciate the great outdoors and a great sense of community when you explore Van Wert’s excellent park system with your rental motorhome near Timberwoods Camping Resort. Smiley Park features a peony garden, a fishing pond, tennis courts, a playground, picnic pavilions, ball fields and a batting cage, basketball courts, restrooms, concessions, and a children’s garden with a gazebo and a butterfly house. Jubilee Park is one of the oldest parks in the system and offers peony gardens, two picnic pavilions, playgrounds, sports fields, restrooms, and concessions. Rotary Park features a boat ramp, paved and unpaved walking trails, a pavilion, and restrooms. There are other park properties with open green spaces throughout the city.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is also easily accessible when you are RV camping at the Timberwoods Camping Resort. The Towpath Trail follows the historic Ohio & Erie Canal route.
