Wally World Camping Resort is an RV campground in the beautiful countryside of central Ohio. It is just outside of the small town of Loudonville and is located along the Mohican River. The campground is approximately halfway between Cleveland and Columbus, two of Ohio’s largest cities. Although the resort is in a beautifully peaceful area of Ohio, it is only a 90-minute drive from either city, so you get the relaxation of being out in the country without sacrificing the convenience of being near an urban area.Campsites at Wally World Camping Resort have lots of amenities to keep you comfortable and entertained during your RV camping trip. In addition to water and electrical hookups for your motorhome rental, there is also a dump station on-site. Guests can access WiFi throughout the resort, and there is a modern bathhouse with air conditioning, as well as laundry facilities for your convenience. There are a campground store and snack bar where you can pick up basic items you may need. There is also 24-hour gated security, so you can feel confident and safe during your trip. This Loudonville campground offers access to the Mohican River as well as nearby hiking trails. A heated pool is available too, along with a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoes, and mini-golf. Pets are allowed in the campground, and there is a dog park on-site. On rainy days, guests can head to the resort's indoor arcade and game room.

The Great Outdoors

When you go RV camping at Wally World Camping Resort, canoeing is one of the best activities to enjoy in the area. The nearby town of Loudonville is considered a canoeing hotspot, and there are lots of places to rent canoeing gear in the town. Experienced canoers can go out on their own, but there are also guided tours available for beginners. The campground is right next to a fork in the Mohican River, which makes it very easy to explore the surrounding area via canoe.The campground is also very close to Mohican State Park and the Mohican Memorial State Forest. There are several places within the park where you can go canoeing, and kayaking and tubing are popular activities as well. You can also go fishing in the many streams and creeks in the park, and you will find largemouth and smallmouth bass, brown trout, bluegill, and white crappie. There are also many hiking trails in the park of varying difficulty levels. Some notable features on the trails include lakeside views, covered bridges, and even waterfalls. Some trails are available for biking and horseback riding.Another nearby park is Pleasant Hill Lake Park. There is an 850-acre lake in the park that allows boats of unlimited horsepower. There is a beach for swimming in the summer, as well as a dock and boat launch. There are many different species of fish in the lake. Trails are available for hiking and horseback riding as well.

Exploring The Area

Wally World Camping Resort is just outside of the small town of Loudonville. This is the best place to get fuel and shop for groceries when you book a motorhome rental in Ashland County. The town also has two small museums, the Cleo Fisher Redd Museum and the Wolf Creek Grist Museum, as well as historic covered bridges.While motorhome camping here, it is very easy to visit both Columbus and Cleveland, both of which have plenty of interesting attractions to check out. Some popular attractions in Columbus include the Columbus Museum of Art, the Center of Science and Industry, the Franklin Park Conservatory, and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The German Village area is a very popular neighborhood to explore as well, with charming shops and historic houses. The Scioto Mile Promenade is another excellent place to go shopping in the downtown area. Local history buffs may also enjoy visiting the Ohio Statehouse and the Ohio History Connection.North of the campground is the city of Cleveland, which is located along the shores of Lake Erie. Cleveland is particularly well known for being the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is a popular destination for music lovers. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden are all popular attractions as well. The West Side Market is a great place for a meal, with an abundance of local food vendors.
