Responsive and supportive host
Kevin explains everything clearly, provides tips and recommendations, and responds quickly to questions. He is helpful during issues and ensures smooth pickup/drop-off.
Smooth driving with upgraded engine
Features a new/upgraded engine for peppy, smooth driving with high clearance. It's well-equipped with a pop-top, comfortable sleeping for 3-4, fridge, and power, often turning heads.

5.0We had vinny for 15 days. I was quite skeptical because of the age of the van and not having power steering, cruise control, electric anything, etc I'm used to my luxurious truck. However, after renting the van we absolutely loved every bit of it. Felt like getting into a time capsule and really couldn't pick a better way to explore Alaska. Not only that - this van is a neck breaker, everyone will be looking at you, honking, waving, and coming up to talk. We met tons of amazing people that I don't know if we would if we didn't have the van. Kevin is an amazing host, very responsive and cool to talk to. We had no issues at all with the van. My only suggestion to future renters is to get the solar panel if you don't stay at campgrounds. We never stay at campgrounds almost always boondocking (and AK is the perfect place for that) however we had to charge the battery a lot more than I expected about every 2-3 days but with the solar I think we would have never needed to go to a campground. 10/10 would recommend!

5.0We took Vincent Van Go out for a summer solstice adventure and had a grand time! It’s a whole different experience traveling in a vintage camper van. We took our time, stopped to explore, did some impromptu nature paintings, got up early to sit under the awning with our coffee to just listen to the birds. We brought a vintage typewriter to write random poems, and when it rained we were comfortable inside playing cards, sketching, and reading. One of our favorite things was Vincent’s happy vibe. People would wave when we drove by and would come over to chat when we were stopped (he’s a great conversation starter). Even the birds liked him—there was a white-crowned sparrow that enjoyed perching on his side mirrors while we were camped. The little bird knew it too—Vincent is a safe, friendly perch. If you’re looking for an adventure, one that refills your soul and reconnects you to nature (and your traveling companions), we highly recommend Vincent Van Go. Kevin is an excellent host—he explains everything clearly, provides all the necessary kitchen supplies, and takes very good care of Vincent.
