The peninsula creates Presque Isle Bay, which is a popular spot for a variety of watersports thanks to the bay's calm waters. Boating and fishing are both popular here, and anglers can expect to find muskie, perch, bass, and more in the bay. Swimming is also a favorite pastime, and Presque Isle has some of the best freshwater beaches in the country. If you want to explore the extent of the peninsula, there are roughly 11 miles of trails that lead through the area's woodlands.
