VW Westfalia Weekender - Silver Surfer
VW Westfalia Weekender - Silver Surfer

Meander IN Metolius
Metolius is a trusty road tripper and weekend warrior. She is a 2002 Eurovan Weekender, named after one of Oregon's most pristine fly fishing rivers. She'll take you to the river, the mountains, the beaches and all of the Northwest's iconic National Parks. Just point her toward the fun; she's packed and ready for you.
This van is a "Weekender" model. The Eurovan Weekender seats three in the back seat, and also includes a rear facing jump seat behind the driver for a total of six passengers. Kids absolutely love the rear facing seat; it's like being on a train. There is sleeping space for four inside the van, with two in the pop top and two in the bottom bunk. Add a tent and sleeping bags to your camper van rental for extra sleeping space.
The Weekender does not include the built-in kitchenette, instead the backseat and lower bed are extra large, a great trade off. In fact, the bottom bed inside Weekenders is a full 15 inches (!) larger than the bed in the "Camper" version of the Eurovan. This type of van is a great option for any family that needs to seat up to six passengers, the couple that would like some extra sleeping space, or the party that needs to carry extra gear in the main cabin.
For cooking we send you off with a cooler for your perishables, a propane stove, a collapsible camp table, and all the pots, pans, plates, bowls etc. you'll need. Do your cooking around the campfire or with the portable stove that is included. You get the best of both worlds: camp cooking like you are generally used to, with sleeping in luxury inside the van. A table inside the van swings up for dining or playing cards.
HOP IN AND GO
All GoCamp vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. You’ll be sent a detailed list of all the items included in the van before your trip so you can plan accordingly.

GoCamp is a small, woman-led camper van rental company. We work with busy camper van owners who want to rent out their vehicles through a reputable business, but typically have a day job and not a lot of time to manage their listings. We are small by design; we curate the fleet, typically by invitation, and only include the very best vans and the nicest owners. You’ll work with GoCamp as you are deciding between various options and making plans, and once your trip is confirmed we’ll introduce you directly to the van’s owner. Everything you need is included in the base rental rate – bedding, kitchen and cookware, camp chairs, and more. Please don’t hesitate to message us with any questions - our team is always happy to help!

The experience was great, this was my first time renting a Eurovan. The steps were clear, and the responses were quick. The van pretty much had everything we possibly could have needed, the detail in packing is really thorough and appreciated. We look forward to the next trip! Thanks again

The Metolius camper van was an excellent decision for us. We wanted to have a more mobile camping experience, and not having to put up and take down a tent was ideal. The added amenities, e.g., stove, dishware, cookware, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, camp chairs, really made us feel like we had everything we needed. Our dog, Memo, was comfortable and protected. We loved having the doors and windows open to view the woods, rivers, lakes, and ocean. Tyler was helpful to introducing us to Metolius and the van's quirks. We got the hang of it and immediately felt as if it was our own van. We can only wish! We added just another chapter to Metolius' travels, and we love that about it. Hope to do it again!

Owner pleasant and easy to work with. Provided supply boxes made preparation simple. Pick up and drop off location is not convenient for me, but otherwise, would not hesitate to rent again.

Very appropriately, we spent lots of time along the Metolius river in this van. it felt rock solid and reliable. Loved it!

We initially booked this van to camp with friends who had their own van for a weekend. We ended up loving the experience so much we extended our rental for another three nights. Do yourself a favor; rent a camper van. We'll never camp in a tent again!
