Retro design with modern comforts, our 2022 DuBox travel trailer (unpacked weight of a mere 1,100 pounds) will keep you warm, dry, and stylin’ at the beach, in the mountains, and everywhere in between. Many vehicles that are equipped to tow can tow this tiny beauty, packed with personality and features galore! This trailer comes with many basic kitchen essentials (plates, cups, silverware, knives, cutting board), collapsible tubs for washing dishes and hands, a 6' x 6' overhead awning to keep your entryway dry, a 12v outlet, and 3 electric outlets inside for your laptop, phones, etc. The trailer comes equipped with a small fridge to keep your food and drinks cool (operates on the trailer’s marine battery or on-site charging). The marine battery holds power to run for up to 3 days depending on use and comes with a long power cord for on-site recharging. The 3 electric outlets will work only when using the on-site charging (e.g. campsite with an electric post).Inside the trailer is a sitting area with a 31x22 table that converts to a queen bed (60x70). Also, a roof vent with 3-speed two-way fan and multiple storage spaces inside the trailer. Stylized panoramic windows and a large half-hatch door allow for lots of light and fresh air, and adjustable curtains keep the sun out when you want to sleep in.If you need additional warmth, a small heater unit is available inside the trailer and can heat for up to 96 hours (do not leave it unattended). There are multiple lights with switches available in the trailer. To pull the DuBox you'll need a 2" ball and a 7-pin connector. This is a required item and you must bring your own ball mount with you. The trailer tongue height is 12” from the ground to the middle of the ball. Your hitch receiver should be close to 12" from the ground.Note: We do have an adapter for cars that have a flat 4 connector. We also have a receiver with a 2" ball that fits the hitch with 1.25 inches. check both in the add-on section. What's includedExtension Cord

Other things to noteThank you for your interest in renting the DuBox from The Adventure Continues (TAC). As the founder, we personally appreciate your inquiry and the opportunity to host you. We take our responsibility as your host very seriously and want to make sure all of our guests know what to expect, so here goes….1) Regardless of how you found us, we use only booking platforms which encourage dialogue between guests and hosts to help build trust and rapport. These booking platforms perform the role of verifying ID’s, ensuring that insurance is purchased, and a phone # is provided. In addition, we’ll need some basic questions answered in order to ensure you have the proper equipment.2) Small pets are allowed but pets are not allowed to ride in the trailer while they are being towed or to be left in the trailer unsupervised for any period of time. We love pets and limit to small pets as large pets will not have room to lie down in the trailer unless you want to give up at least half of your bed space! If the DuBox is returned with a pet stain, an additional $150 cleaning fee will be assessed.3) Pick up is at 2 pm and drop off time is at 10 AM. We do allow exceptions but they must be requested and agreed upon during booking. If the trailer is not picked up or returned within an hour of the agreed-upon time, a $150 convenience fee and/or another day of the rental charge will be assessed; whichever is greater. If you would like additional information on this policy, please ask.4) Absolutely NO Smoking, vaping, or other pleasurable substances in the trailer. Also, no burning of anything (candles, essential oils, incense sticks, etc) or cooking is allowed in the trailer. Violators will be responsible for an additional $150 cleaning fee.5) Towing the DuBox slowly on a short gravel road to arrive at a campsite, or on a level and graded gravel road at campgrounds is welcome. Driving fast on ANY gravel surface, or driving them on a rough ungraded road is NOT!6) Travelers will be held responsible for the cost to replace and or repair any missing or damaged items.7) In order to keep our prices low, we allow our guests to choose upgrades. If you have not done so, we ask that you please review them and choose the bed linen & 2 pillows, cooking upgrades, lawn chairs & a side table, etc. if they are needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last-minute changes to the upgrades during the checkout process.7) During the reservation process, we require that all of our guests answer the following questions:Are you OK with these policies, liabilities, and amenities?
Are you bringing pets?
What vehicle will you be using to tow the teardrop?
How much experience do you have in towing a trailer?
Do you have a hitch and 2” ball which, when mounted, is approximately 12” off the ground?
Which electrical connection type do you have; a 4 flat, or a “7 round” one?
Do you have any other questions?
Looking forward to hearing from you,Denise and Matt

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend get-away to the coast in Denise's trailer. She graciously extended our reservation to reach the 3 night minimum. The trailer is well represented in the photos and was quite comfortable. We did not have power hookups at our campsite, so we relied on battery power for the refrigerator, which lasted for about 36 hours. The bed is comfortable, though it was a little short for my wife and I (6' and 6'3", respectively). The pop-up feature is VERY easy and user-friendly and offered ample height to stand inside.
