It was good. They are very accommodative and flexible. Will recommend and work again.

Christy and her husband, Matt were wonderful hosts. The van, as a vehicle, runs great. However, the RV part of the van is artisanal, improvised and full of surprises. Because of poor insulation to a ceiling fan, after the first rain, the bed was all soaked, therefore unusable. This led to the need of renting hotel rooms for the whole period of our trip, which doubled our trip expenses. Under ideal circumstances, outdoorsy.com should have reimbursed at least half of the invested money to the renter. Otherwise, nature in Montana is absolutely breath taking.
Christy’s answer
At departure the renter’s son indicated they had hotel reservations for the two nights they rented the van, as it was a father/son holiday and they didn’t want to share a queen bed. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the renters desire for any compensation as he never requested it. I did note a small leak from the fan and would have been willing to work out arrangements had he said something. Communication is key when mishaps occur, and often prevent issues like this.
