The park is located on the shore of the beautiful Lake Brownwood, where you can go fishing and swimming, explore the water while boating or paddling, and you can also go water skiing and jet skiing. If you feel like staying on land, there are miles of trails where you can hike. Bikers can pedal on the Nopales Ridge Trail. You can also search for geocaches, go birdwatching, or take in the view of a sunset over the water.Taking your RV rental to San Angelo State Park will introduce you to a place where four ecological zones meet. The park is home to some fascinating animal life like bison, members of the Official Texas State Longhorn Herd, and dozens of other species of mammals, as well as plants. What type of RV should I choose?
Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?
Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.
