We had the trip of a lifetime with Gus! We drove around BC and explored many provincial parks. Driving Gus was comfortable... similar to driving a truck. The solar powered fridge/freezer combo along with hotplate, and fan was perfect. It allowed us to stay cool when sleeping, well fed, keep our phones charged and gave us freedom to explore and stay in a variety of parks without needing power hookups. Alan and Wes were also very kind, helpful and easygoing. We would happily rent Gus for another adventure in the future.

Gus was an excellent van for our trip! Very comfortable and cozy to camp in.

Alan’s answer

Thank you Nicole! We loved hearing about your road trip to Whistler and Manning Park in Gus. We agree - the queen bed is super comfy! Hope to see you again. Alan

Gus was GREATI!! Our first time using outdoorsy and the entire experience was fantastic. We took Gus on a 10 day adventure from Vancouver to Port Rupert. Gus exceeded our expectations and handled the Duffy like a charm. Very comfortable to sleep in, love the different lights as well as the fan. Extra storage under the bed, the table and the plug in cooler was also awesome. The owner was also fantastic to communicate with-very easy pickup and drop off and also replied very quickly. Highly recommend Gus! Cheers & Thank you!!

Alan’s answer

Thank you Lana for your kind review. We enjoyed hosting you just as much as you enjoyed Gus! Thanks for renting with us and we hope to see you again.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We will try our best to accommodate flexible collection and drop off times if the camper is available.
Q.How do the electric and water hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
It's very simple. We provide a heavy duty 20 ft. 15AMP power cord that plugs from the camper directly to the power source at your selected campsite. We provide 2 water canisters, each hold 23 liters. The canisters must be removed from the camper, filled at the water source and carefully placed back in the camper.
