We rented this trailer because we are considering purchasing a similar, small fiberglass trailer (Armadillo Backpack trailer), but wanted to know if we'd like it and to get some experience for what to look for and what we'd want. It's a cute little trailer that has been well maintained over the years--the tires and jack are new, for example. The fridge worked well. It is small--it's hard to store much stuff in there, but it's big enough for two to sleep in and cook in out of the sometimes cold and wet PNW. I'm 6'0" and it was long enough to sleep in (see photo). Chris and Sarah were easy to work with and were flexible about pickup and drop-off times.

We loved the Scamp! We got so many questions and compliments on it during our trip. It was just the right amount of space for sleeping 2 adults and our 2 young kids. It was the first time we towed a camper, but Chris explained everything clearly and put our minds at ease.

We had a great time renting Chris and Sarah's Scamp. They were super friendly and helpful when picking it up. Highly recommend!

Chris and Sarah's Scamp was perfect for our weekend getaway. We towed it behind our Toyota Tacoma which it handled with ease. Inside the Scamp has plenty of storage for gear, a refrigerator to keep our food cold, and a full tank of propane to fire up the stove which worked great. The bed/table was easy to setup and break down making transitions at might and in the morning super convenient. Only downside was that it didn't come with a heater, we brought our own. Seeing as we were winter camping this would have been nice, but if you rent in the summer time I wouldn't see this being as much of an issue.

Great trip. Cozy little camper. Kept us dry and snug inside while raining outside. Easy to haul with my CRV. Chris and Sarah were great to work with. Easy going, professional and friendly. I'd highly recommend this cute little scamp for a couple.
