Things started out pretty good, when we did the initial walk thru, a few things were not functioning (raising the leveling jacks, the button didn't work, so Lori had to put the vehicle into drive to get them to raise, she said to only use one of the locks because the other sticks and door will not open, and she didn't know anything about the new tv- which WILL NOT work unless you are connected to wifi- that should have been disclosed) and the carpet is disgusting, but they have a rug for it, so it wasn't awful. When Lori pulled out the sofa bed, there was a dirty sheet on it and trash left behind/under it. She seemed really nice and even told us, if you get back late at night, just bring it back the next morning."
Once we had it, it ran well, but the door kept sticking. We made sure to only use the lock that they said to use, but one day we could not get in. A latch, on the inside of the door broke, luckily we had left the drivers window open a bit and put my 11 year old thru it to open up, otherwise we would have been stranded. We could not fully close the door for the rest of the trip.
When we got the RV, the motorized steps took awhile to fully shift into position, as the trip went on, the process became slower and slower. I went to step outside one morning, I thought they were fully extended and as I stepped onto them, they retracted a bit, lurching me forward. I fell hard onto the concrete pad, I had several bruises from the fall. The steps didn't function at all for the rest of the trip, we had to bungee them up while driving, then jump down and climb up to get in and out.
The radio/back up camera was mounted on the dash board, my teenage son was "looking at it" and suddenly the mount wasn't holding it upright as it had been. The screen was tilted downward, but everything was still functioning normally.
We ended up hitting tons of traffic on our way back, there were several accidents. I texted the owners to let them know it would be late and asked if we could take them up on the offer of bringing it back the next day, they said no, just bring it when we get back. We got home around 9pm (after driving 10 hours), we were emptying and attempting to clean the RV, when I got a text saying the next morning would be okay. The morning didn't end up working out for them after all so we dropped it off (no walk thru). I called the owner to explain about the steps, he said it had happened before and he knew the camshaft was going out on it.
The door was something internal that had NOTHING to do with us, we just happened to be the unfortunate ones it happened to, the owner admitted that was nothing we had done.

These guys were amazing to rent from. The RV was great. Had everything we needed besides clothes and food! Highly recommend!

Great working with Robert, he did a thorough job explaining his rig and said to call with any questions, to which he answered quickly. The, rig looked good, drove great and was clean. Several neighboring campers were surprised it was a rental. Will consider renting again next year...unless we buy our own by then!

Bob is a great guy to work with. I will definitely rent from him again. His coach was clean, well maintained and great fuel mileage. we pulled a 24 foot trailer with 6 bikes in it and got 6 and a half miles to the gallon.
THANKS again Bob!
