Domke Lake, Stuart Camp, Hatchery Campgrounds

This is three small hike in campgrounds surrounding Domke Lake offering a total of eight tent only sites for DAY USE ONLY. Domke Lake, Stuart Camp, and Hatchery Camp are CLOSED FOR OVERNIGHT CAMPING due to post fire hazards caused by the 2015 Wolverine fire. Updated: 05/10/2017 


Driving directions to Domke Lake, Stuart Camp, Hatchery Campgrounds

From Chelan, boat approximately 40 miles to Lucerne Landing (there are no roads that connect the City of Chelan to Lucerne or Holden).ORFrom Chelan, travel south on Highway 97 Alternate for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat approximately 21 miles. Lucerne Landing is on the south shore.From Lucerne Landing, Hike along the Railroad Creek Road #3100 for approximately ¼ mile to the Domke Lake #1280 trailhead. Hike up the Domke Lake trail for 3 miles.Notes:The Lady of the Lake provides passenger ferry service from Chelan to Stehekin with stops available at Fields Point, Prince Creek, Moore Point, and Lucerne. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
