Additional facilities were developed as the park became more popular. In the first few years Abe Martin Lodge (the Brown County State Park Inn), several cabins, a swimming pool, a saddle barn and Strahl Lake were constructed. The roads, entrances and many trails were also added and improved.There's over a dozen miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. Some other fun things to do at the park include geocaching and birding.
