About this space
Built on giant Douglas Fir trees, our treehouse is located on Lago Lomita Vineyards with a view of the entire Monterey Bay. The ladder/staircase leads to a 400 sq. ft. platform with a queen bed, electricity/WiFi in a tent! There is a full bath on the bottom floor of the main house, immediately inside the French Doors. Both our treehouse and yurt listings are unique experiences. They both are adjacent to the Tierra Madre Vineyard Block and have awesome views of the entire Monterey Bay/Pacific Ocean. We are located on 44 acres high atop the Santa Cruz Mountains but close to all the major beaches and the Silicon Valley. Please be aware this is camping in nature, along with squirrels, spiders, falling leaves, etc. and nature is not always for everyone. There is a 45ft. ladder to climb to get into the treehouse. The view at sunset is spectacular.What's includedFresh linens, continental breakfast (e.g. muffins), instant coffee and teas, and bottles of water are included for free.Other things to noteNo children under 18 are allowed. For a family friendly option, please consider our yurt which sleeps four and is on the same vineyard as the treehouse (with the same views).The treehouse platform is over 40 feet in the air, and you are required to climb 3 steel ladders to access the platform and tent.No pets are allowed. It is not safe to lift a pet 40 feet up in a tree, and we are in a wilderness with predator animals that attack pets (this has happened to our pets).
