Los Angeles is the land of palm trees, beaches, and celebrities and people flock from all over the world to visit. What better way to explore this city than in your RV? Plus, Los Angeles is a great jumping off point to some truly epic road trips in California. There are only a handful of places to park your RV and here are 5 of the best campgrounds in Los Angeles County.

Dockweiler RV Park

It doesn’t get much better than camping right next to the beach and that’s what you’ll get at Dockweiler RV Park. Pay the extra money to get a spot that butts right up to the sand for unobstructed ocean views where you’ll have access to the beach and bike path just steps from your front door. This RV park might be the best location, as it’s near major freeways that will take you to downtown, Hollywood, Santa Monica, or Venice Beach. One downside is that the park is directly underneath LAX and the planes are LOUD and take off consistently! While there aren’t amenities at the park itself, you won’t even notice while you spend your days lounging on the famous Los Angeles beaches.
