Get your RV delivered to a KOA site

Did you know that you can get your RV rental delivered right to your campsite? With Outdoorsy and KOA, it’s easy. All you have to do is choose your campsite and your rental rig, and the rest is taken care of!

Choosing a KOA campground

With over 500 KOA locations across North America, it’s easy to find a site near you. Whether you’re on a cross country National Park road trip, on the hunt for the best breweries, or looking for a close-to-home vacation, there’s a KOA campground for you.

And with RV delivery, your road trip just got a whole lot easier. Before we get into that, however, let’s talk about what you can expect at a KOA.

Various RV site types

Choose from 3 RV site types:

  1. Full hookups
  2. Water/electric hookups
  3. Dry hookups

Then choose from 3 different styles:

  1. Back-in RV Sites
  2. Pull-thru RV Sites
  3. RV Sites with KOA Patio®

Countless amenities

One of the best parts of staying at a KOA campground is the on-site amenities. At any KOA across the U.S. and Canada, you can expect:

  • Clean bathrooms with hot water
  • Playgrounds
  • KOA stores
  • Self-service laundry facilities
  • Pet facilities like Kamp K9

Not to mention, the friendly staff to help you find your way to any of the above.

Some KOA sites go beyond those essentials with features like:

  • hiking trails
  • bike rentals
  • cafes
  • swimming pools
  • game rooms
  • mini-golf
  • horseback riding
  • fishing
  • gem mining
  • and more!

Needless to say, a stay at each KOA location is a unique experience!

How to have your RV delivered

RV delivery through Outdoorsy is simple.

1. Search deliverable RVs

When you head to Outdoorsy to find your RV rental, you’ll be asked for three things:

  1. starting location
  2. departure date
  3. return date

At that point, to find RVs that are deliverable by the owner:

  1. enter the address of the site you want your rental to be delivered to
  2. specify whether your rental will be driveable or stationary

From there, your search will be filtered to show deliverable rigs.

2. Choose your rental

At the top of these listings, you’ll see a note about their deliverable radius. These can be delivered to your home, a pickup location, or your final destination — a KOA campground, perhaps?

3. Book your rig

Once you hit reserve, you’ll just have to:

  1. Enter your name, email, phone number, and age confirmation
  2. Describe your trip, including requested add-ons, like delivery
  3. Select your insurance coverage
  4. Confirm your reservation and pay

Note: Delivery prices are set by each individual owner. They may offer delivery as an add-on option with a fixed cost or have it set to automatically calculate based on distance. The type of insurance you qualify for depends on how the owner prices the add-on and whether they’re providing both drop-off and pickup services.

4. Talk with the owner

The next step before departure would be to discuss a few things with the owner, including:

  • delivery cost (if not already set)
  • site dimensions and restrictions
  • the exact location of your site
  • drop-off and pick-up times
  • any special instructions

After that, you’re set!

Did someone order an RV?

Some say having an RV delivered is as simple as ordering a pizza, and we’d have to agree! Pick your favorite KOA, book your RV rental delivery, and you’re well on your way to a good time at a KOA campground — so good, you may not even want to leave your campsite.
