The rocks vary in size and shape, and if you look closely, you’ll see veins of white quartz running through them. Some of the rocks retain the appearance of the lava flows from which they formed, looking like a stream frozen in time. The staircase can be reached from the beach and generally takes about 15 minutes to reach the top.

Picnicking

Picnicking is the perfect activity any time of the year at Blow Me Down Provincial Park. The day use area features a picnic area for visitors with fire pits, BBQ grills, and picnic tables. A trail takes guests down to the beach where you can take a stroll along the rocks and find starfish, sand dollars, and crabs in the tidal pools. The picnic area also offers a scenic view of the Blow Me Down Mountain range. Parking is available near the picnic area.
