Transportation

Driving

AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, Texas, and reachable from a variety of directions within the state. The stadium sits near I-30 which runs both eastbound and westbound. During congested driving times, drivers may move into the Texpress Lanes, which are toll lanes that charge drivers based on current travel times as well as the time of day. Drivers don't have to take the Texpress portions of the interstate, but they may choose to if the traffic isn't cooperating with their timeframe.

If you are heading from the north, close to the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, take Highway 360 south to the stadium. A portion of this road is a toll road. Drivers who don't have a prepaid license plate pass will receive a bill in the mail for driving on the toll roads.

During game days, electronic street signs displaying parking information as well as traffic messages will help to guide you to your parking lot entrance.

Parking areas

The Dallas Cowboys home football games have some of the best tailgating parties in the NFL. The parking system at AT&T Stadium is easy to follow, which helps to make every fan's tailgating experience unforgettable. AT&T Stadium has three parking areas, with each area offering different amenities. If you plan on tailgating, be sure you choose a lot that permits the pre-kickoff parties.

Tailgating is fun, regardless of what vehicle you bring to the stadium, but there isn't anything much more fun than tailgating in an RV. Vehicles designated as oversized, such as RVs and large vehicles over 19 feet, must park in Lot 14. If you plan to bring your RV, you must buy your parking pass ahead of time, as a limited number of parking passes are available for Lot 14. Overnight parking is permitted in Lot 14 for most events. To check if your event is on the overnight parking list, contact guest services.

Public Transportation

Not everyone likes to bring their RVs to football games. If you prefer to park your rig at a local campground and take public transportation into the game, you will have plenty of options. Private limousine companies, taxis, and rideshare companies have designated lots to drop off and pick up football fans, making it easy to get to the game. An ADA shuttle provides services to and from the parking lot to the stadium for guests who require mobility assistance.

What to pack

Clothing

When you prepare to pack for your trip to Texas, consider the weather outside of the stadium as well as the temperature inside of the stadium. AT&T Stadium's retractable roof makes it easy for the facility staff to keep the players and fans comfortable during the game if the weather isn't agreeable outside. For your tailgate, it's always a good idea to have a mix of short sleeves as well as warmer layering clothes in case colder weather moves through the area.

Gear

It's almost impossible to show up to an NFL game without showing your team spirit in one form or another. Pack your favorite team clothing as well as your team-inspired flags and folding chairs. When fans pass by your RV, they will know which side you want to win. If you need more team spirit, stop by the Pro Shop or any of the merchandise stands. All of the shops accept cash and charge.

Health & Safety

Football is an all-day affair when you pair the parking lot fun along with the game. For many fans, standing for hours causes sore feet and legs. Before you head to Texas, prepare for long periods on your feet by bringing soft insoles for your shoes as well as comfortable socks. As with any RV trip, it's a good idea to pack a first aid kit with bandaids, pain killers, and other small items to help soothe little aches and pains.

Where to eat

Cooking

When you come to AT&T Stadium for tailgating, you get to experience a variety of pre and post-game rituals, many of which involve food and drinks. If you have a dish that brings your team good luck, why not cook it outside and share the good vibes? Perhaps your favorite football fare is a seven-layer dip with freshly warmed tortillas. Keep your dip cold by using your propane or battery-operated refrigerator, and warm your tortillas on a flat-topped gas grill. Cooking is allowed at your tailgate with either gas or charcoal grills. If you use charcoal, be sure to dispose of your hot coals in the designated coal containers located in your parking lot.

Restaurants

Visiting Texas isn't complete without a trip to a Tex-Mex style restaurant. There are several Tex-Mex inspired restaurants within five miles of the stadium. Aside from Tex-Mex, Texans other favorite food is Texas-style BBQ. Some of the best-rated BBQ restaurants in the Arlington area are located within two miles of AT&T Stadium. Whatever food you enjoy, you won't run out of options in the Arlington area.

Vendors

When you attend a game at AT&T Stadium, your food and drink possibilities inside of the stadium are plentiful. Choose from traditional fan favorites like hot dogs or nachos, or pick something sweeter like ice cream or kettle corn. All of the concessionaires accept credit cards and cash, and there are food and snack options to suit even the pickiest of eater's palates.

Safety

Security

Attending a game at AT&T Stadium is a fun and relaxing experience. The staff wants every guest to feel safe and secure from the tailgate through the touchdowns. Members of the security team adhere to the stadium's rules to keep a safe feeling in place. Please note that all vehicles are subject to a security inspection before parking and all people are subject to a security screening when they enter the stadium. Before you head inside to the game, make sure you leave all unnecessary items in your RV, and only bring what you need in a stadium-approved bag.

Weather

The weather in Texas ranges from hot and muggy to cold, overcast, and chilly. Football season runs from the summer through the winter, so the weather will fluctuate depending on the time you visit. Thankfully, RVers have the option to pack extra clothing and extra gear to prepare for any weather. If the weather is uncomfortable during your tailgate, bring the party inside of your RV. The best part about attending a game at the AT&T Stadium is the retractable roof, so even if the weather outside is not what you hoped for, at least you will feel comfortable during the game.

Medical

When you come to a Dallas Cowboys football game, you hope to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Once in a while, you might need to visit with a medical or first-aid team member. In case that happens, the stadium has a medical staff on site to help you with your health needs. If you can't locate the first aid stations, ask any member of the staff for directions. For more significant medical issues, fans may visit an emergency room or an urgent care clinic. The closest facilities are located within two miles of the stadium. If you need to pick up something from a pharmacy, numerous pharmacies are within walking distance.
