With its 17 different thrill rides from the Xcalibur to the American Thunder, if you enjoy extreme rides, this park is for you! For example, the Dragon Wing plummets you 15 stories at over 60 miles per hour, and the legendary Screamin’ Eagle has several 10-story drops at speeds up to 62 miles per hour. If you want the height without the speed, try the Colossus, which is one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the world.

If you come during the summer, you may want to try one of the wetter rides like the Tsunami Soaker, Thunder River, or the ever-popular Log Flume. And right next door is the waterpark where you can cool off even more with the Gulley Washer Creek, Hook’s Lagoon, or Hurricane Bay. For bigger thrills, the Bonzai Pipeline is a launch tube that sends you plummeting six stories at over 40 miles per hour. And the Tornado lets you and the family raft through a 135-foot tunnel into a giant funnel.

Want to catch a show or just sit in a comfortable seat for a while and relax? Six Flags St. Louis has quite a few shows that everyone will enjoy throughout the park. An 80s Rock Show might have you tappin’ your toes to the music you (or your parents) grew up with, Keepin’ Out of Mischief is a western comedy show about a saloon, and the Joint is Jumpin’ show in the Palace Theatre has live musicals and Broadway dancing.

The kids have a park of their own in Looney Tunes Land, where you can find carnival rides like Bugs Bunny Ranger Pilots, Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons, and Marvin the Martian Camp Invasion. They even have their own train called the Foghorn Leghorn National Park Railway! Visitors can stay all day at the park since they have over a dozen restaurants serving all kinds of fare from Dippin’ Dots to veggie burgers and soft drinks to beer. Of course, they also have the typical carnival food like cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, and funnel cake.
