Location: This major recreation area in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region offers year-round activities. In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort.
The 4,085 acre lake at Mt.Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings - enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking.

Mt. Sunapee State Campsite is located off of Rte 103, Newbury
Mt. Sunapee State Beach is situated about a mile from the campground and offers many amenities.

Amenities: The beach has a store, canoe and kayak rentals, a playground, and a new bathhouse. A boat launch is available with some restrictions.
Camp Grounds: Mt. Sunapee State Park Campground has five renovated lean-to sites. This allows for excellent family camping in a natural setting. The campground has pit toilets and water, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach, with flush toilets and showers, is located about a mile from the campground.

Pets: Pets are permitted at the campground and at the park, except during the Arts & Crafts Festival. They are not permitted at the beach or at the ski area during the ski operating season.
