<p><strong>Additional driver</strong><br>The trip owner can invite their partner, friends, or family members to verify their IDs so that they can help operate the vehicle. <br><br><strong>Add-ons</strong><br>Hosts can create add-ons for their listings, which are optional items the guest can purchase for their trip, if they wish. This helps guests customize their experience and hosts earn extra income. Popular add-ons include things like bicycles and kayaks.</p>



<p><strong>Booking request</strong><br>The first step in matching guests and hosts. A booking request tells RV hosts that a guest is interested in their vehicle. Hosts have 24 hours to respond, either by approving it or messaging the guest, before the request expires. A booking request doesn’t guarantee a rental until further steps are taken.<br><br><strong>Customer support team</strong><br>Your go-to support team, focused on delivering timely and empathetic help to hosts and guests. <p><strong>Identity verification</strong><br>After booking an RV, guests are prompted to upload photos of themselves and their driver’s license in order to verify their ID. It’s easiest to complete on a camera-enabled mobile device. Only verified drivers are allowed to operate the vehicle during the trip. If a trip starts without a verified driver, the guest won’t receive any claims coverage for vehicle damage.</p>



<p><strong>Guest</strong><br>An Outdoorsy member who requests a booking or rents from a host.</p>



<p><strong>Host</strong><br>An Outdoorsy member who publishes a rental listing on Outdoorsy.com.</p>



<p><strong>Instant Book</strong><br>An Outdoorsy feature that allows guests to make reservations immediately, without the host reviewing and approving the trip. This is a great way for hosts to&nbsp;maximize their earning potential, but it’s important for them to keep their calendars up to date.</p>



<p><strong>Smart Match</strong><br>An Outdoorsy feature that connects hosts with people in their area who are actively looking for a rental. Hosts receive a quick summary of their trip plans and can either send a quote or a message to the guest.</p>



<p><strong>Member</strong><br>Someone who signs up on Outdoorsy.com. Members can sign up directly by email, Apple, Facebook, or Google, or indirectly by starting a rental listing and providing their email address.</p>



<p><strong>Seasonal rates</strong><br>Seasonal rates — the practice of raising rates during high-demand months — are discretionary (but common) in the peer-to-peer rental community. For example, in the U.S., the typical busy season for RV rentals runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hosts might also consider lowering their prices during off-season months.</p>



<p><strong>Trip owner</strong><br>The guest who books and pays for the trip. This guest can add their friends and family to the trip with an email invitation. </p>



<p><strong>Verified driver</strong><br>Verified drivers have undergone Outdoorsy’s extensive driving background check and are approved to drive a rental vehicle.</p>

Officers, directors, and employees of Outdoorsy or its affiliates, and related companies, and the immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such officers, directors, and employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible. The Contest is subject to all applicable Texas and US laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How to enter:</strong></h3>



<p>Submission of entries (First &amp; Last Name, Instagram Handle, Email Address and tell us what freedom means to you in 250 words or less.) Must be made during the designated week’s Contest Period, participation consists of an entry form located behind the designated “Link in bio” digital button on Outdoorsy’s official instagram page. <a href="http://www.instagram.com/outdoorsy">www.instagram.com/outdoorsy</a> you must fill in all of the fields as directed.</p>



<p>Outdoorsy reserves the right to disqualify entries for plagiarism, offensive language, use of AI to write, in whole or in part, the entry, or failure to follow any of the rules. All entries must be original works by the entrant, in English. Entries may not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Winners will be selected by Outdoorsy (in its sole discretion) at the end of each week’s Contest Period.</p>

<p>The prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. The right to receive the prize is not transferable, assignable, and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted except at Outdoorsy’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein.</p>



<p>Outdoorsy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or a portion of the prize) of equal or greater value for any reason. Outdoorsy will not replace the prize if it is lost or stolen. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. <p>Outdoorsy makes no representations or warranties whatsoever as to the ability to use the prize or to book and rent any particular vehicle or stay listed on the Outdoorsy.com platform. A winner making a booking on the Outdoorsy.com platform agrees that additional criteria may be imposed by the listed vehicle’s or stay’s owner. If the booking value exceeds the credited amount, then the winner will be solely and completely responsible for covering the booking expenses beyond the prize amount. Such booking must purchase the maximum available insurance coverage offered through the Outdoorsy.com booking platform. Outdoorsy will not be responsible for covering additional trip costs on and/or off platform, including but not limited to, mileage overage fees, gas, campground reservations, airfare or any other costs and expenses. All bookings on the Outdoorsy.com platform must fully comply with the terms and conditions and other policies therein.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Winner selection and notification:</strong></h3>



<p>As described in “How to Enter,” winners will be selected at the end of the Contest Period. The winners will be announced in Outdoorsy’s instagram and notified via email addresses provided on the submission. In order to receive the prize, the potential winner must return email communications with Outdoorsy’s team to set the delivery conditions of the prize. If the potential winner fails to respond to the email within 7 days or is found to be, in Outdoorsy’s sole discretion, ineligible or in violation of these Official Rules, such potential winner and his/her entry will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Outdoorsy may request paperwork that the potential winner will be required to complete in order to be awarded the prize (including, but not limited to, a publicity release, tax documentation, drivers license information, evidence of insurability, and/or liability release). The failure to do so will render the potential winner ineligible.</p>



<p>If the potential winner is 21-24 years of age, the rental vehicle will be limited to what is available for that age bracket on Outdoorsy.com. A winner will need to go through the Outdoorsy driver verification process (verified in Outdoorsy’s sole discretion) and, if confirmed,&nbsp; will be responsible for being the sole driver of the vehicle during the rental period and will be legally responsible for compliance with all terms and conditions related to accepting and using the prize, including the provision of paperwork and the releases and indemnifications described in these Official Rules, and following all the terms of service on Outdoorsy.com. The prizes will be available for redemption until December 31, 2026. The receipt of the prize offered in this Contest by the potential winner is conditional upon compliance with these Official Rules and any and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>General Terms:</strong></h3>



<p>Decisions made by Outdoorsy are final and binding in all matters, including interpretation of these Official Rules and awarding of the prizes. <p>By participating in the Contest, you agree to release from liability and hold harmless Outdoorsy and its parent company, affiliates, and related companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or the receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or from any trip booked or taken using the prize. Entrants agree to indemnify the Released Parties and any other companies associated with the Contest, including any vendors or marketing agencies, and any third parties who have provided prizing. The indemnity covers all claims made not only by potential winners, but also by anyone participating in the Contest. The indemnity covers both claims arising out of the Contest itself, and claims arising from any use of the prizes.</p>

<p>You will have to cancel the booking and rebook the guest if possible outside of Outdoorsy</p>

<html><head></head><body><p>You’ve booked an RV and are getting stoked for your camping vacation – hooray!<br><br>Now, let’s say you want to change your payment method after you’ve booked your trip. No problemo. Depending on when your trip departs, different charges, like the security deposit, can occur at different times. <br><br>As a result, you may want to update the payment method associated with your reservation. Here’s how to do that:</p>



<p>1.) Navigate to your <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/trips" target="_blank">trips page</a></p>



<p>2.) Scroll down until you see a section regarding your ‘security deposit amount and timing’</p>

How do I update my payment method?

<html><head></head><body><p><strong>UPDATE: As of July 2025, Roamly Weather Coverage will no longer be offered to purchase with Outdoorsy bookings. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.</strong></p>



<p>Roamly has partnered with Sensible to provide a product that allows you to purchase coverage for the duration of your trip and be able to receive a refund in the event of bad weather.</p>



<p>Available in the U.S. only, for all RVs, this additional Roamly Weather Coverage provides protection for your trip in the event of unexpected bad weather. Possible coverage is based on information from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).</p>



<p>For example, if it rains more than the amount quoted (based on the NOAA day-of-forecast), then Sensible will automatically provide a refund to you, based on the current weather at the location of your trip.</p>



<p>When you initially purchase coverage from Roamly Weather, you will see some basic information outlining your coverage and its parameters:</p>



<p><strong><em>What to expect:</em></strong></p>



<p><em>A forecasted “light rain” of 1.5 mm, or more, for 3+ hours will trigger the daily coverage. We’ll alert you if bad weather is on the horizon. Don’t worry, we’ll only text you if it’s important – aka you have money available.          Light rain is when you walk outside, and the ground looks like it’s been raining, think small puddles. </em></p>



<p><strong><em>How’s the coverage triggered?</em></strong></p>



<p><em>3 – 6 hours of rain = $51.93/day                                                                                                                                               6+ hours of rain = $103.86/day</em></p>



<p>This is just an example of what you’ll see when you consider purchasing coverage. The expected forecast, details, and amount of possible refunds.&nbsp;</p>



<p>If the weather during your trip is considerably worse than anticipated, based on the previous NOAA forecast, Sensible will notify you via text message and issue reimbursement automatically!</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How do I purchase Roamly Weather Coverage?</strong></h3>



<p>Weather Coverage is offered when you make your reservation online for any stationary RV bookings where the RV is delivered and set up at a destination, or for campsite bookings, because the service requires an address to calculate the coverage.</p>



<p>You will also be able to purchase Weather Coverage after your booking is confirmed, from the Trips details page in your account.</p>



<p><strong>Note!</strong> Roamly weather coverage can only be quoted and purchased for trips that are less than three months long.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Is Roamly Weather Coverage the same as Trip Protection?</strong></h3>



<p>No, Roamly Weather Coverage is a separate offering from both Trip Protection and Damage Protection.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How is the covered amount determined?</strong></h3>



<p>The covered amount is based on the total cost of your booking when coverage is purchased.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How long do I have to purchase coverage?</strong></h3>



<p>Roamly Weather Coverage is available for purchase up until the day before your trip begins. If your trip starts today, you will not be able to purchase coverage.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What happens if I change the dates of my trip?</strong></h3>



<p>Because coverage is based on a specific date range and forecast, if you change the dates of your trip then your Roamly Weather Coverage will be removed and need to be repurchased for your new trip dates.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Can I cancel my Weather Coverage?</strong></h3>



<p>You have 24 hours after the purchase of Roamly Weather Coverage to cancel it. After 24 hours have passed, then coverage will not be able to be removed without canceling the booking.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Note!</strong> If Roamly Weather Coverage is added within 14 days of your booking’s start date, then the option to remove the coverage will not be available.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What happens to my coverage if my booking is canceled?</strong></h3>



<p>If the booking is canceled prior to departure, then the entire cost of Roamly Weather Coverage will be refunded to you.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Note!</strong> If the booking is canceled on, or after, departure then Roamly Weather Coverage will be nonrefundable.&nbsp;</p>
