Situated in the beautiful Savanna Portage State Park, the Savanna Portage Campground is a family-friendly base for exploring northeast Minnesota. It’s set amidst rolling hills of mixed hardwoods and pines while being on the doorstep of four lakes that provide plenty of recreational opportunities.
Camping at the Savanna Portage Campground includes access to 61 campsites during the warmer months and just 27 in the winter, as well as a single camping cabin. Electric connections and flush toilets are available at the RV park, as are hot showers and a sanitary dump station.
Pets are welcome to stay with you when camping in McGregor, and there are accessible sites for those with limited mobility. Canoes and kayaks are also available for rent within the state park, together with fishing boats, if you want to get out on the lake waters to explore at your leisure.
