Originally established in 1966, the Green Acres Family Campground has been hosting guests from all over the world for more than five decades. It’s a great base for exploring the cultural sights of Williamston and getting active in the wildlife refuges of Mattamuskeet and the Alligator River.
RV camping at the Green Acres Family Campground includes access to 175 sites, including water and electric, and three-way hookups (water, electric, and sewer connections). There’s a climate-controlled clubhouse at the RV park, and a Wi-Fi connection is available, as are clean restrooms and hot showers.
Recreational facilities at the Green Acres Family Campground include two swimming pools and a mini-golf course, not to mention tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. There are also children’s playgrounds to keep young guests entertained and a video game room for rainy days. If you want to get out on the water, you can rent a canoe or pedal boat, with fishing also possible in the lake. Green Acres Family Campground also hosts events throughout the camping season.
