Fort Kearny SRA Campground

RV camping means adventure, a chance to see and learn something new, an opportunity to build memories, and in Buffalo County, Nebraska, that equals Fort Kearny SRA Campground. This family and pet-friendly RV campground is basic, offering all the usual amenities and with access to everything you'll need to have a memorable vacation. Individual campsites have either electric hookups or electric and water, with a dump station and a water outlet where you can draw potable water; the electrical hookups have 30/50 amp service. The RV park is nestled amongst a stand of cottonwood trees, some of which are more than 100 years old, providing all the shade you'll need.

Once you're settled in, there is an abundance of things to see and do in Fort Kearny State Historical Park, which the campground is a part of. You can swim in the nearby lake and river, check out the hiking trails to go for a jog, take some photos and view the plant and wildlife, and much more. There's a playground for young kids, a fishing pier, and scenic driving routes that put you in touch with nature from the comfort of your rental RV. In fact, driving an RV is a thrill all of its own, and one of the reasons why RV vacations are so unique. You will need a Nebraska state park permit to enter the park and the campground, and some of the campsites allow for tent camping.
