Mountains, Dessert, National Parks Oh My! Our home away from home is now your home away from home! Go off grid for days or cozy up in a local RV resort.  This camper can comfortably sleep 6 and the bunks are large enough for two small kids in each bunk(8 people max) and don’t forget your furry friend! Let us set this up at a location of your choosing  or bring your own towing vehicle for an amazing time exploring.  Don’t spend all your time inside, you can grab a cold drink and cook a meal with the outdoor kitchen, while sitting under the awning or enjoying some sunshine.  The kitchen table is in a “u” shape and is great for cards, puzzles and dinner.  The open floor plan makes this feel so spacious.  Sit in the captains chair while sharing stories and when it’s time for bed, lower the master Murphy bed in seconds.  There are so many places to see and relax within a few hours of Durango. Note that without a generator or connecting into an AC electrical outlook the microwave and AC will not run.  Camping in a campground with electric plugins will solve this. You can bring a generator or rent ours.  In the Mountains, you generally won’t need to run AC and can be off grid for 4-5 days if you plan it right.  Dry weight is 4400 lbs and with a full load of water it would be approx 5500 lbs.  Ball size is 2 5/16.

Squatchy is a 2021 Dodge Ram Promaster High Roof cargo van that was professionally converted into an RV by Alpin Van in July 2021. It's perfect for boondocking/dry camping as it comes equipped with solar and a 21 gallon water tank. Never pay for a campsite again!

Squatchy has a raised platform bed with ample storage space underneath as well as a closet, cupboard, and above-bed and above-bench cabinets. It also features a large wood block countertop for cooking while enjoying the views and an inset gold stainless steel sink for washing dishes afterwards. Bench seating and a passenger swivel seat allow for easy dining. The bed inside the van is a Queen in width but not length. If you are tall or traveling as a couple, you may need to sleep slightly diagonally. I am 5'10'' and have traveled with someone who was 6'3''. It took some getting used to at first but ended up living out of the van for 6 weeks.

It's fully equipped with a walk-around queen sized bed, a TV/DVD in the overhead bunk, a TV/DVD in the bedroom, indoor & outdoor showers, Awning, HW heater, sink, 3 burner gas stove & oven, microwave, aircon / heater and rear camera . Sleeping capacity for 6+ people. Our rig has tons of storage space inside and out for all your family and adventure gear! At 29.5' this RV is very spacious but still easy to drive and park!


When you begin a trip you want to be ready to go, so we include at no charge; linens, pillows, towels & washcloths, pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, kitchen knives, can opener, wine/bottle opener, french press, salt & pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, hand vacuum, cleaning supplies, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hand soap, first-aid kit, Mag-Light flashlight,  two outdoor folding tables (with tablecloths), outdoor rug/mat and four camp chairs. If you would like other items, please let us know upon booking and we will make every effort to provide them for you!

Dogs are welcome upon prior approval (no cats).

Prior to return, the gas tank should be filled. We will take care of emptying the Black tank (sewage) and grey water (waste water) tanks as well as filling the LP tank. Please return the RV reasonably clean (floors mopped & swept, dishes washed, counters wiped etc.)  In order to keep the unit pristine smoking is not allowed. The deposit will be forfeited if smoking is suspected.

Due to safety concerns, the roof is not accessible and the ladder is not to be climbed.
Please do not leave the unit unattended when the awning is out and retract in moderate to high winds.

You cannot top Durango as a vacation home-base since it is a mere 35 miles from Mesa Verde NP, 50 miles from Pagosa Hot Springs and the gateway to the majestic San Juan mountains - the American 'Swiss Alps'. There are also many ancient puebloan ruins within a half day drive.

Extremely well cared for 2015 26’ travel trailer. This trailer weighs only 3850 lbs when empty making it easily towable by all half tons and some small SUVs. Sleep 5 adults, 6 if you double up on the convertible dinette. The queen is a Murphy bed so you can convert it to a couch when not used increasing space during the day. The single bunks in the back are great for kids and the bottom bunk has a homemade barrier for the really little ones (our 2 year old loves his bunk.) This trailer will come with a load equalizing hitch and sway controller. You will need a trailer brake controller in your tow vehicle to use the trailer brakes. 

We will provide clean bedding for the queen bed and other bedding can be available for the other beds upon request. Additional 5 gallon water jugs (good for boondocking) are available upon request, along with a camp stove and camp chairs for a negotiable additional fee. Dishes and cookware for 5 is included along with a few DVDs.

Please note this trailer does NOT come with a generator, a 3500 watt is possibly available for rent and is the minimum required to operate the AC unit. Without electrical hook-ups or a generator only the heater, fridge/freezer, water pump, stereo, awning and lights will work. Please feel free to reach out with any questions at all. We use this trailer for weeks at a time and most likely have anything a family would need to make a trip great. 

Absolutely NO smoking, NO off-roading, no Burning Man type festivals (the sand and dust destroys these rigs)

This trailer is great for KOA and similar camp grounds with full hook-ups, but does well at primitive sites as well. This rig should NOT be taken off maintained dirt roads (please don’t 4 wheel and bounce it around it’s not made for that.) 

2015 Keystone RV Passport Ultra Lite

If you are new to camping, want a low hassle camper, or just prefer glamping...this camper is for you!

It is towable by most midsize trucks and SUVs.  We tow with a Jeep Gladiator (6000lbs max) and have no issues.  It has a high clearance so it is very forgiving to drive.  It even has an electric hitch :)

It has tie downs inside for bikes or kayaks.

This camper is in high demand, so unfortunately any requests to cancel days after you trip has started will be declined.  


• We supply camping chairs, linens, dishes, etc.  If there is something specific, please ask!

• Memory foam mattress topper by request (if used, it cuts down on available storage--ask for more details)

• Sleeps 3 adults comfortably, 4 adults kind of comfortably :).  One dinette conversion goes to about a king size bed.  Both my wife and 2 young children (7 and 8) can fit.  The other dinette conversion goes to about a twin bed--- but to be honest is not very comfortable for more than one person.

• Delivery is listed for $10/ mile.  That may seem expensive, but that is a one way trip.  Given that I have that to drop-off and pick-up the camper, it is actually $2.50/mile.  If you only need me for a one way trip or if it is relatively easy drop off not in the mountains , please contact me for alternative pricing.
