Family Culture Our Family culture still remains now that we are a part of the Family RV Group. Colerain Family RV began in 1968 in a northwest suburb of Cincinnati, OH. Expansion began in Dayton in 2007, Indianapolis in 2011 and Columbus in 2013. In 2016, with the help of investment firm Kidd & Company, Northside Family RV of Lexington, Kentucky, was acquired and the Family RV Group was formed. Northside was founded by Gary Ecklar in 1979 and has been rated the #1 RV Dealer in Kentucky for over 20 years. In 2018, Dunlap Family RV , a four RV dealership group from Tennessee, was acquired. Dunlap was established in 1994 by Brad and Renee Soldwedel in an old gas station. Most recently, in October of 2019, Family RV Group acquired both Candys Campers stores which were owned by Steven and Sherry Burnett and began in 1998. We also converted our Distribution Center in Muncie, IN to a full service dealership. Family RV Group Continues to Grow As Family RV Group continues to grow, our initial philosophy still prevails of treating everyone like family. Our customers, employees, vendor partners and shareholders are all a part of our family.
