We are the original manufacturer of The Teardrop Trailer Inc. and have decided to branch out into the Teardrop trailer rental industry. Our trailers are small, compact, aerodynamic and can be pulled by almost any size vehicle. Including most cars. This particular teardrop has a shorter bedroom of 5ft 10. We have multiple teardrops for rent here on Outdoorsy and are 6ft 2. This particular trailer is my own personal trailer and has all the options provided through our company

You can pick up our teardrop on our farmhouse property and explore the Atlantic provinces. Full size mattress and rear galley kitchen.

Ramblin’ Rentals is located in Millinocket; the heart of the Katahdin region near entrances to Baxter State Park and the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. 

Our camper “Bertha” is a 2010 RPod 176T. She comes equipped with everything you need for a great vacation.
-	Wet bath (toilet/shower combo)
-	Kitchen area w/ gas stove, sink, microwave, and fridge
-	Entertainment center w/ TV, dvd player, and radio
-	Heater for colder nights
-	Light weight & easy to haul

At the front is a single bunk, perfect for a child or small adult. In the rear is a pop-out (short) queen size bed that sleeps two and a dining area that can be converted to an additional full size sleeping area where two people can sleep.

If you plan on hauling Bertha yourself, please allow ample time during the pickup for us to go over safety precautions and a demonstration of set-up and tear-down. We will verify that your vehicle can safely haul the unit prior to pickup. Your vehicle must be able to tow at least 3500 lbs.

No tow vehicle? No problem! We can arrange to deliver and set up Bertha at any of the local campgrounds in the Katahdin Region. Delivery and setup includes a base fee of $100 and and covers a 25 mile radius from our location. Additional delivery miles are calculated at $2 per loaded mile to and from your location. Message us to discuss the details prior to booking.

We take pride in helping people create a memorable camping experience but we are not vacation planners. There are many resources online to help you find the perfect campground, hiking trails, fishing spots, etc. We specialize in our campers and making sure you are comfortable wherever you decide to go. If there is anything you need that we don't currently provide, please let us know.

There are many campgrounds in the Katahdin Region to pick from. We recommend finding a campground in the region that has RV hookup (power and water) like Big Moose Campground, Wilderness Edge Campground, Katahdin Shadows, and others. You can find a list of accommodations through the Katahdin Chamber of Commerce online. If you need help picking a campground we are happy to point you in the right direction. 

We may deny requests to take our campers to off-grid locations due to road conditions and additional wear and tear on the campers systems.

Make your family camping dreams a reality with this amazing 26ft Jayco trailer! Extremely clean, well maintained, and well appointed by owners with lots of camping experience. Any issues will be quickly addressed and handled by the owners themselves! This trailer has exactly what you need in a simple, well thought out design that tows extremely well with a half-ton truck or full-size SUV. This trailer is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. Camp in privacy and comfort with tinted windows, black-out blinds, air conditioning, and a furnace! The Serta queen mattress has been augmented with a 4" memory foam mattress topper to ensure a good night's sleep after a busy day. A telescopic ladder makes access to the top bunk safe and easy! Bathroom has a tub that is perfect for small children and a shower head with enough space and headroom for adults. Ask about the deluxe camping package, which includes a propane BBQ, table, camping chairs, screen tent, corn hole game, and sun shade for the beach! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Cookware, dishes and utensils for 4, children's dishes, cooking and BBQ utensils, pots and pans, charcoal BBQ and chimney starter (bring your own charcoal). Cleaning supplies are included. Delivery and setup to a campground or other location within 50km of Fredericton can be negotiated. Bring your own bedding, pillows, towels, face clothes, dish cloths, dish towels, etc.

While this trailer is advertised to sleep up to 8, it can sleep 4 comfortably. We are open to discussion for groups larger than 4, (if you have more children for example) but we don't want large groups using the trailer. Pets may be permitted following a discussion with the renter, but fees will be added if permitted. Absolutely no smoking inside the trailer. It is equiped with a detector for cigarette and Marijuana smoke and a $500 dollar cleaning fee will be charged if this rule is not followed. As this is a family oriented trailer, we take this very seriously. Both grey and black water tanks must be empty prior to returning the trailer, or a $100 dollar dumping fee will be charged. Trailer must be fully cleaned prior to returning.

Please confirm your tow vehicle with us prior to booking. We will not let the trailer leave with a vehicle that is not properly equipped to tow it. If you have little to no experience towing a trailer, this may not be the trailer for you! Please reach out to us ahead of time with your travel plans and intended use.

“Dixie” is a throwback to the fun and simplicity of the 1950's. Don't let her retro look fool you though, she has all the amenities for a hassle-free camping trip regardless of the weather. Indoor and outdoor speakers provide seamless entertainment outside and in, and the outdoor lighting and power awning add to your camping space. Dixie combines the best of both worlds in a light-hearted way that is sure to make you smile!

Don't have a truck to tow with? No problem with Dixie, she is light and nimble and can be towed with an SUV or even a mini-van (please check your own towing capacity to ensure you are within towing limits - minimum 5000lb towing capacity required). She also has a power hitch so no endless winding up and down to get her hitched up perfectly. You will need an electronic brake controller.

Rentals are available for 2 nights to weekly.

In general, weekday pick-up and drop-off will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday pick-up and drop-off times will be 2:00 p.m. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip and travel times. BLACK/GREY TANKS: Renter is responsible to dump grey and black water tanks prior to return. There is a $150 dumping fee for any returns with liquids in those tanks.

DELIVERY FEES: The delivery fee is the greater of $150 (minimum charge) or total cost based on round trip mileage and time for delivery and pick-up. Mileage is charged @ $.50/km and time @ $35/hour round trip. Currently, delivery is only available for weekend drop-off and pick-up times. Deliveries within short radius of Homebase may be available during the week on a case by case basis and dependent on work schedule.

Please ensure you have a 7-pin connector and brake controller. Trailer will not go out without these in place.
Minimum towing capacity is 5000 lbs. Trailer will not go out with anything less.
