Windy is an almost new, 2021 Thor Four Winds 22E Class C motor home, built in the USA on a Ford E350 super duty chassis. It's a modern, easy-to-use motorhome that's as easy to drive as a large pickup truck! There is a very comfortable queen bed in the back, another queen sized sleeping area above the driver and passenger seats, and another sleeping area in the convertible dinette. The bathroom feels larger than expected for this size RV. We will complete a full walkthrough of how to use everything before your trip. So you can have a hassle-free trip and enjoy the journey! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

"Windy" will come fully equipped and ready with fresh linens, cookware, plates, cups, and utensils. It also includes 4 camp chairs, small outdoor camp games and all of the necessary items to connect the vehicle into any standard campsite, with power, water, and sewer.

We've camped at some great campsites along rivers that include tubing and waterparks. We've driven up and down the east coast visiting family. We've also used it to use as a home base for longer outdoor adventures, like ultramarathons and bike rides.

Welcome to our Taxa Cricket also known as “Casa de Grillo”. This 2022 Cricket is the perfect camping companion for solo travelers, couples, or small families.
This camper is extremely user friendly.  At just 1800 lbs. dry weight and 15’ in length it makes towing easy for smaller vehicles. Very easy & quick set up!
Casa de Grillo includes a full-sized bed which can be transformed into a small dining area. It also has two sleeping berths for children or small adults. The kitchen is simple to set up and comprises of a two-burner stove and sink. Dometic portable refrigerator can be included upon request for an added fee.
Our Cricket features interior and exterior lighting, AC and DC outlets (AC only when plugged into power), Thule 6’ awning, and much more.
You will need a 2” trailer hitch ball and a 7-pin electrical connector to tow this camper.

Casa de Grillo is perfect for short or long term camping. It is small enough for any campsite and easy to maneuver in and out of sites. Great campgrounds in the area include: Dixon's Campground (Cape Neddick, ME), Pinederosa (Wells, ME), White Lake State Park (Tamworth, NH).
We have also taken the Cricket to Gilford for overnight camping and a concert.

Try out Van Life in our custom-built Mercedes Sprinter van. This van designed by Downeast Custom Vans in 2019, comes complete with custom maple cabinetry throughout, a comfortable bed, gas stove, fridge and toilet. The high cedar clad ceiling allows 6' tall travelers to stand comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, plates, and utensils.  Sheets, comforter, and pillows are included as are bug screens and insulated window coverings. 600 watts of solar power allows for fully off grid camping. A built-in heating system for winter adventures will keep you toasty even in sub-zero weather. There is plenty of storage for bikes and your other gear. This van is easy and fun to drive and has a backup camera to aid in parking. A stereo/navigation system with Bluetooth and Android Auto will help guide you. The van is dog friendly but no cats please.

The perfect way to explore all the natural beauty New England has to offer. Start your adventure right here in historic Portsmouth, NH with the Maine coast 5 mins away. Acadia National Park is just 3.5 hours to the North, with the White Mountains beckoning to the Northwest. Come try out what the Vanlife buzz is all about!

You can pick up the van in Portsmouth or at our workshop in Somersworth, NH. We are an 1 hr. drive from Boston Logan airport. C&J Bus Service provides an easy and comfortable shuttle hourly to Portsmouth and Dover/Somersworth area.
Upon arrival expect to spend about an hour with us reviewing the van's features and systems so you can feel comfortable and confident during your travels.
