Check out our brand new custom built teardrop camper! We enjoyed the build and now can't wait to see where it takes you.

If you've got a tow hitch, you can hook up and hit the road. Made of wood layered in fiberglass, the trailer and camper combined weighs less than 600lbs. Just about any vehicle is able to transport and maneuver our camper with ease. No prior towing experience is needed.

You’ll have everything you need whenever you pull over to explore the great outdoors, cook a meal or get some rest. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized mattress, complete with plenty of pillows and blankets that make up your own cozy den. Out back, the galley kitchen features a spacious countertop with a stovetop, cooler, pump sink and all the kitchenware you’ll need to prepare a real meal with a different view every time.

Whether you're looking for a quick weekend getaway or a longer adventure, any parking spot can turn into your home base. We love getting off the grid and enjoying the simple things in life. We designed our camper for likeminded adventurers.

Teardrop campers are small! It is the perfect cozy size to fit 2 people lying down or sitting up, but there is no indoor standing room. If you desire more space, our camper is not for you.

A teardrop camper is an upgrade to a tent or car camping. It is not comparable to a full size RV. We do not have hot water, toilet, shower, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc. We have outfitted our camper for the best off the grid experience possible. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

In addition to traditional campgrounds, be creative in where you set up camp! Make sure you're following local laws. We're happy to help you plan too, just ask. Harvest Hosts is an option to support local small business and sleep free.

2025 Chesapeake Light Craft CLC Teardrop Camper

This large motorhome has all the space and FUN packed into 27 feet! King bed, sofa conversion, dinette/twin bed, and over-cab bed. Large awning to sit and watch some TV next to the campfire or enjoy some music. This is the camper you want to book if you're staying local in the surrounding Hampton Roads area. You will have all you need to have a comfortable stay and a quick and easy set-up for first timers or those who want to maximize their relaxation! If you have driven a large U-haul, this will be just the same with backup and side-view cameras for safe driving. If this is your first time, see the youtube link in 'trip recommendations for guests' and it walks you through all the features and tank processes during your rental!

No smoking inside the RV ($250 cleaning fee). If you want to arrive with the RV set up so you can start your fun, consider the set-up option. If you would like a walk through of the process during pick-up, please annotate it while booking and we can walk through the process.  If you have any questions of RV functions, please let me know. Everything is a lot more fragile in the RV, so please take extra care when operating sinks, toilets and changing furniture into beds! 

Bring a couple extra chairs if you have a large party. We have a gas stove and a gas oven in addition there is a hot plate, small air fryer and a waffle maker on the inside. Outside we have a small propane grill and connection. There is an outdoor TV that is Bluetooth capable for some outdoor entertainment.

Norfolk Navigator

This fee will cover preparing and sanitizing the unit prior to each rental. All linen will be cleaned between each trip, including pillow cases, protectors, sheets and blankets.

2023 Thor Four Winds

Family fun trailer with plenty of room and easily towable from just about any hitch ready vehicle. The camper sleeps six easily, with two small bunks, one queen bed, and the fold down table to accommodate additional guests. It is also equipped with an outdoor propane griddle and fridge for easy camp cooking. Pop inside to cool off in the summer heat or warm up in the cold of winter. This trailer is equipped with air conditioning and heat that is easy to use. Also included is a full bathroom, microwave, tv, and radio. Adventure awaits! 

Comes with cookware, an exterior fridge, and a blackstone grill. Coffee pot with some coffee and filters. paper towels, and trash can (no trash bags).  

Communication is key! The camper is super easy to use, but we know not all camp-goers are experts! Just reach out if you're not sure about something, and we can help! 

Virginia Beach KOA great campground with seasonal pools, playgrounds, zip lines, and games for kids! also very close to the VB oceanfront.

First Landing State Park, has so much nature to enjoy. 

Davis Lakes Resort over in Suffolk, this place has 4 lakes to swim, boat, and fish in. 

The Colonies RV at Fort Monroe near Hampton.  Gorgeous views and water to swim and boat in. 

Cape Charles KOA over on the Eastern Shore has wonderful hikes.

Northwest River Park in Chesapeake offers disc golf and mini golf.

Notice the privacy for sleeping...a queen bed is located on either end of the camper with the living area and pull out sofa in the middle. We know you love the outdoors, but if it gets too hot, there's a fantastic AC! Enjoy the roomy bathroom with a full sink and lots of storage. If you want to cook, we have you covered! Pots and pans, and utensils abound. There's a gas stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator at your disposal. We hope you have the best time ever!!

Our RV is a great home away from home! She loves exploring the great outdoors and is the perfect size for a family adventure. Easy to drive with backup cameras and large side mirrors. New mattresses for extra comfy sleeping!
Our family has loved her and made so many great memories and hopefully yours will too!!

Everything!!! Haha. We tried to make it as easy as possible for you to start your adventure, just grab some clothes and groceries and hit the road!!

Please note: We have removed the interior dining table. One of the folding tables in the lower hatch works great in the space if you need an indoor table.

Outdoorsy requires all tanks to be returned as they were received. Fees are added if tanks are not returned as received.

We have taken our RV all over the country! We loved the Midwest and Key West of course is awesome!  
If you need recommendations for campgrounds or off the grid spots we can definitely recommend some hidden gems!
