Jacob Lake Picnic Site is located in the Jacob Lake Group Campground, 44 miles north of the Grand Canyon. The Jacob Lake area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing.
The site is located 30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67.

White House Campground is a small, quiet campground set in a white sandstone cove beside the Paria River. Its location makes it popular with hikers beginning or ending trips into the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness and with those looking for a base camp while exploring the southern Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
White House Campground is open year-round. A redesign and expansion of the site was completed in 2019, and the campground now has seven drive-up and five walk-in campsites. All campsites are for individual groups; the campground does not offer group sites. Ponderosa Grove Campground is a quiet, primitive campground named for the canopy of ponderosa pine trees that shade its nine campsites. The campground provides a convenient camping location for visitors to nearby recreation destinations including BLM lands west of Highway 89, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Non-motorized access to the Moquith Mountain Wilderness Study Area is available across the street from the campground entrance for those interested in hiking and exploring. Additionally, a range of excellent OHV-riding opportunities are only a short drive away.
