Good footwear for rain, mud, and beach areasOther things to noteThe camper is designed to make your Alaska trip easier, especially if you are flying in, coming down for a fishing charter, visiting family, or just want a comfortable basecamp without hauling a trailer all the way to Homer or Anchor Point.Coolers and heavy-duty storage bins can be provided by request. These are great for fishing gear, rain gear, boots, wet gear, and outdoor equipment, especially with Alaska weather doing Alaska weather things.I also have a 2016 Ram1500 crew cab 4x4 available as a separate rental/package option if you need a get-around vehicle during your stay. Her name is Reba, and she is a great Alaska truck for getting around Homer, Anchor Point. She has a covered bed, DECKED bed storage system, jumper cables, extension cords, and basic outdoor utility tools like a hatchet, hammer, and other useful gear. This can be a nice option if you are flying in, do not want to deal with a separate rental car, or want the camper and vehicle coordinated together through the same owner. Message before booking if you are interested in adding the truck so we can discuss availability and details. The camper uses a 30-amp RV electrical system. A 30-amp campsite is ideal, but a 50-amp site will also work with my adapter. Regular household outlets are limited and will not run the camper like a full RV hookup.Alaska weather can change quickly, even in summer. Bring layers, rain gear, and footwear you do not mind getting dirty. The goal is for you to be able to adventure during the day and come back to a clean, warm, comfortable camper at night. This camper is our happy place, and we want guests to enjoy the magic of Alaska without feeling like they are roughing it the whole time. Help us keep it nice, and we will do everything we can to make your stay easy, comfortable, and memorable.
