RV camping at Lake Austell is a fantastic way to explore all the outdoor adventure options in the area, all from the comfort of your rental RV. This eastern Arkansas quaint town is a great destination for history lovers, as it is home to the Parker Pioneer Homestead Museum. The homestead is focused on recreating a working village reminiscent of the early 1800s and employs staff to live in the fashion of early pioneers. During hours of operation, guests can watch the staff work as blacksmiths, bakers, builders, and more.

Heading directly east of Lake Austell will take you to the famous city of Memphis, TN, which is absolutely worth checking out while spending time in this part of Arkansas. Memphis is famous for its music scene and has plenty of popular music venues and museums to explore. Memphis also has a zoo, diverse restaurants, and a gorgeous riverside walk along the Mississippi. Although Memphis is a bit of a drive when you have a rental motorhome at Lake Austell, music lovers and enthusiasts won’t want to miss out.
