The Vandemic is a 2015 Dodge Promaster tall version that I built out in 2020 during the pandemic. Includes seating for 4 (booster/carseat ready), sleeping for 3 (2 in full size bed, 1 in front single mattress), two sliding doors w/ windows on each side, electric gang switch panel, usb ports, 120 outlets, dimmable lighting, electric cooler, sink, fan, couch that pulls out into a full size bed, passenger swivel seat, upper cabinets, bar top w/ drawers, insulated walls, window covers, hammock hooks. Van has AC up front when running but no AC when van is off. What's includedComes with fresh sheets, window covers, hammock, small coffee press, cleaning supplies, kitchen knives/supplies, small single burner camp stove, sink, ground matt, fire extinguisher, etc… I can remove the rear seats to allow for more room. Check out the “Add-ons for many extras I can include. I try to keep the prices low. Its more so I can easily prep the van like a menu, and it keeps it easy for both of us.RecommendationsGreat for hill country wine tours (with a DD), family camping trips, festivals, tailgating, roadtrips, etc.
Ask about our private campground in Driftwood Tx just 30 min from Austin in the heart of the wine hill country.
Other things to noteIts a 9.5ft TALL Van so be careful of drive through, carports, fast food, parking garages, etc.Regular gasolineNo smoking inside

Jamie was a very responsive host and replied to our questions and concerns very quickly. We had a blast driving his camper van across Texas and into Colorado. Bed was firm, but comfortable, and it was wonderful to have the refrigerator to keep our food items cold. The van is a bit quirky, but that is part of the charm!

The van was great for our trip to North Carolina, we wanted something a bit more spacious for a smoother ride. Easy to navigate and host was great to communicate with.

My son (booster seat aged) and I had a trip planned to Guadalupe River State park and we wanted to give van camping a try. I rented Jamie's van because it was the only one that I could find that could be configured to hold a booster seat. When we met to pick up the van, Jamie helped us configure everything, remove items we weren't planning on using, and gave us an overview of all the features.

Jamie’s answer

Austin was a great renter and returned super clean.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
It depends on the next rental. Just ask me if you need and I will try to make it work.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
All the electric is run off the Delta Ecoflow solar generator. I call it the POWER BANK. The electric cooler is run of an independent deep cycle battery that charges up when the van is running. I do not have sewage hook ups. I have a cassette toilet and I only allow #1’s in the cassette toilet. No number 2’s please. Water is a 7 gallon fresh water tank that feeds the sink. The sink drains into a 7 gallon grey water tank.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
-Remember that this van is TALL. Just over 9ft tall. BE CAREFUL going under drive throughs, parking garages, low hanging trees, etc. -When closing the back doors... Close the left door first, then the right door. -Find a level spot for a good night sleep.
