Frequently asked questions
Q.
Can I bring my dog?
A.
Yes! Up to 2 pets for a $50 cleaning fee per trip. Please bring a blanket for the bed.
Q.
What flexibility is there for pick up and drop off?
A.
Pick up is at 2 PM and drop off is at 11 AM, but I’m happy to adjust as long as it doesn’t overlap with another booking. Flying in? I’ll have Tuley parked and waiting at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), or I can deliver her to your hotel or campground within 30 miles. The delivery fee is based on distance and shows up when you book.
Q.
How far is Yellowstone, and where should I camp?
A.
The north entrance at Gardiner is about an hour and a half away. Yellowstone’s campgrounds fill months ahead in summer, so reserve as early as you can. National Forest campgrounds near Gardiner, West Yellowstone, and Big Sky make great backups. Ask me for my favorite spots and I’ll send a list.
Q.
How does the Starlink work?
A.
It’s included free, and I’ll show you how to turn it on at pickup. It needs a clear view of the sky, so it can drop under heavy tree cover or in deep canyons. It runs off the Goal Zero, so turn it off when you’re not using it to save power.
