2023 Gulf Stream Conquest

We booked this RV in good faith that everything was fully functional as it was listed, and no defects were disclosed at the time of booking. Unfortunately, our RV trip was ruined due to Yamin not disclosing that there was a toilet leak, and not mentioning that there would be an awful smell after “using” the toilet. It did not smell at the time of pick up, but as soon as we used it and drove the RV, the odour was so strong that we could not use the bathroom/shower properly. We are campers and sailors so we know that an RV is not like a “hotel”, however there is clearly some underlying issues that need to be resolved here. Furthermore, Yamin has not been helpful with this issue and has since tried to extend “extras” charges to us which were not disclosed or agreed upon. Yamin explained the RV well when we arrived and even walked us through the things that weren’t not operating properly such as: 1. The toilet had a “minor leak” photos of his own towels attached for evidence. 2. The key doesn’t go in the ignition properly, you had to fiddle with it for some time to start the car. 3. The RV entrance door did not open and close very well and took some force to open and close which was difficult to operate for my wife. 4. Floors were not sanitary at all, they appeared clean at pick up but we took our shoes off and our white socks/feet had become black underneath. Please check all sanitary things carefully upon pickup 5. This one was not disclosed at all but there was a fair bit of steering wheel movement (sway arms) which can make it quite dangerous to drive on the freeway especially if there’s high winds. I hope that this review is helpful to you and that nobody else encounters any of these defects - I encourage you to contact Outdoorsy if you do. Unfortunately, our RV trip was ruined due to Yamin’s inability to maintain the vehicle to sanitary standard and furthermore being unwilling to resolve the issue with us.

Host is detail oriented and spent 40 minutes doing an intro and walk around. I have never driven an RV and the host made it simple. On the trip I had a few questions and host was helpful and explained everything. This RV is easy to drive and the folks at any RV spot will help you park. I would rent this RV again.

My experience was terrible!!!! want to clarify one important point. All of the issues we experienced should have been disclosed to me clearly during our phone conversations, so I could have the option to decide whether I wanted to proceed with the reservation or not. That is the purpose of disclosure, to allow the renter to make an informed choice. When we arrived at the RV and you gave my son a walk through, that briefing was meant to explain how things operate, not to reveal existing defects or limitations that should have been communicated much earlier. At that point, we were already committed and on the road, without the ability to change plans. Had these issues been clearly communicated to me by phone in advance, I would not have proceeded with the rental. This is no longer about money. It is about fairness and honesty between one person and another. We spoke for nearly an hour on the phone, during which you asked me all the questions you needed in order to decide whether you were comfortable renting the RV to me or not. In that same spirit, it would have been fair and reasonable for you to say, there are several issues with the RV that I want you to be aware of before you decide, and then give me the choice to continue with the rental or not. At the very least, that would have prevented me from being surprised at the last moment. Dana

Yamin was a lovely host. Rv was in great condition.

I could not have had a better experience with Yamin. He was extremely helpful. This was a very last Minute trip for my son‘s 21st birthday that almost didn’t happen if we couldn’t find an RV the RV was in perfect condition very comfortable for our group very clean. I could not ask for a better experience.
