2009 Forest River Rockwood Premier
If you love being outdoors, you'll enjoy camping in our 2009 Forest River Rockwood Premier. With two heated queens and a slide-out full-sized bed, you'll find plenty of room for your family's camping excursions. Equipped with a three-burner stove and propane/electric refrigerator, the camper will allow you to prepare meals inside on days when that campfire just won't light. And with one seating area in addition to the dinette, you'll have the option of dining inside or out. The additional hanging storage for lightweight luggage helps to keep your floors and counters clear, giving you enough room to make memories indoors on rainy days. For those late evenings or leisurely mornings, curtains and tinted windows provide privacy and seclusion. For warm summer days or cool fall nights, the air conditioning and heating systems will help you camp in comfort. The built-in radio and cd player can provide entertainment, along with a small monitor and dvd player you may set up. The pop-up's interior and exterior lighting would allow you to stay up well after dark.Although the Rockwood Premier is spacious, it pulls smoothly with our 3.5 liter, 6 cylinder minivan. It comes equipped, if desired, with a hitch leveling system and anti-sway bar kit, which can be used with our hitch ball that fits a standard hitch receiver. The trailer brakes and lights work with a 7-pin round connector, but with a 4-pin flat connector, you can use the lights and your vehicle brakes. If you have only a 4-pin connector, I can provide an adapter. If you'd like to spend time on two wheels while camping, we provide a bicycle rack on request at no additional charge. The rack holds four bikes at the front of the camper. If you're interested in camping in comfort this spring, summer, or fall, feel free to reach out with questions. For those planning to camp for longer periods, we offer discounts for weekdays (-$10), week-long (-20%), and month-long rentals (-25%).What's includedPlease note: After renting our camper for two seasons, the canvas is showing signs of wear, with minor blemishes in the canvas. Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
If my schedule allows, I'm happy to arrange for early pickup or late drop off as long as it doesn't interfere with others' reservations. You're welcome to get in touch before booking if you need an early start or late drop off!
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Before your rental, I'll share with you detailed instructional videos for setting up and taking down the camper.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Both electric and water can be connected directly to the camper. The camper does not have grey or black water tank. However, a hose is provided to drain grey water into your own tank or sewage system. The camper does not include a restroom, so you won't have to deal with black water.
