John and Alana are great hosts who made us feel as if we were renting an RV van from friends. They provided ideas and tips to enjoy our visit of the Canadian Rockies which made us feel very welcomed to one of the most captivating sceneries in all of North America. The van is fully equipped and it is very comfortable for 2 people, easy to drive and park, so it is ideal both for moving from place to place, preparing some meals and for overnight stays in RV parks . We recommend not just the vehicle but also the hosts who go the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience renting from outdoorsy.

John was very communicative throughout the entire process and made sure I had everything I needed. The van was amazing and even handled very well in the snow. I couldn't have asked for more. Worth noting the van kept me warm in single digit F temperatures too! Absolutely a memorable trip and experience. Highly recommend.

The van was the perfect way to explore Banff and Jasper and all the amazing places in between; comfortable, easy to drive (even in snowy conditions) and very well stocked (blankets, towels, coffee machine, pans etc.). John went out of his way to be helpful...he gave trip recommendations and share some great experiences he's had in the area. I am so grateful to have had this experience and am very thankful for all John's help!

The rig was great, John was awesome! Such a kind caring human. Banff was gorgeous and I truly felt like I got to experience it having such great gas mileage and a cozy bed to snuggle up into in the evenings. 10/10 recommend.

We had an amazing experience renting this RV! It was exactly what we needed for our week-long adventure through Banff, Yoho and Jasper National Parks. It was the perfect size because it allowed us to camp in harded-side only campgrounds and park in RV parking (some hiking spots had overflow parking for RVs) but also was small enough to park in a regular parking lot. The pictures completely matched the listing, it actually somewhat surpassed our expectations as to the versatality of the space. Being able to camp but still have a heated space with a bathroom, sink and fridge was invaluable to making our Banff/Jasper trip a success. I also want to note how wonderful John and Alana were to rent from. They were responsive to all questions (and even gave us great suggestions in advance of our trip), accommodating with pick-up/drop-off times and when I asked the best way to get back to the airport, they even drove us from their home for less than a cost of an uber. They were overall very friendly and kind people that we loved getting to know. Thank you, John and Alana!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What kind of Range and Fuel mileage can I expect?

A.

The Sprinter diesel van gets about 850 Km to a tank and it averages about 12L/100km efficiency. It is like driving a mid size SUV in terms of fuel use, amazing range and very reasonable to fill the tank!

Q.

Will the Camper be ready to go when I pick it up?

A.

YES, The camper will have a full tank of Diesel, Propane and Water. We expect the Fuel and Propane to be full and the Black and Grey water tanks emptied when you return the unit. There is a Shell station very close to our house that offers all three services, Septic, Propane and Diesel. Fees apply if these items are not meet.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We maybe able to arrange Pick up and or Drop off to YYC Calgary airport.

My wife and I purchased the Camper to do a ski road trip back in 2018, original plan was do the trip and sell the camper. We had a great time and kept the Camper and use it as a base for skiing. We are both avid snow and water skier's and have travelled to some amazing mountains and lakes. Our original trip took us to 20 states and we both snow skied and water skied along the way. Our Sprinter Camper is so easy to live in and gets amazing fuel economy, plus the bed is perfect and we always awake rested and ready for new adventures
