Meet your host, Amanda

We are a very outdoorsy (no pun intended), husband & wife team that find our RV an invaluable tool to our lifestyle. We are national park fanatics and have visited over 50 parks and monuments. We love to boondock (dispersed camping) in national forests and remote areas as well as camping in state and national park campgrounds. We enjoy meeting our fellow RVers and gaining / sharing knowledge about RVing, camping and places to go! We hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, kayak, scuba dive and have rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. There's nothing like relaxing in our motorhome after these activities.

We had a terrific long weekend with this RV. Super comfortable, and everything was in tip-top shape. The RV itself has plenty of power, and is much easier to handle than a lot of the larger RVs. We'll definitely rent again from Amanda and Paul!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.Where can I go in the RV?
A.
This is your trip! Feel free to travel where you like! Please note that there is a .40 cent per mile charge after the free 100 miles per day. Concerning dirt road / off road travel: You may travel on regular dirt roads as needed but please be aware that you are responsible for all towing / recovery charges for the unit and some dirt roads are not covered by roadside assistance. Dirt road Pro Tip: drive slowly! Please do not drive the RV on beaches, unimproved or 4 X 4 roads.

Q.How easy is the RV to operate?
A.
Our RV is 29.5' feet long, 8.5' wide and 12' tall, however it's fairly easy to drive, park and turn around. Pro Tips: always watch for low over-hangs and have a person guide the driver when reversing into tight spaces. We have upgraded our suspension to give more stability and an additional 4" of clearance as longer RVs can scrape on driveways, speed bumps etc. This will provide some piece of mind when navigating these types of obstacles.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We will meet at our storage facility or we will deliver / pickup the RV to the Durango Airport for a reasonable fee (please see add-ons). If you have a vehicle we can store it for you in our parking space at our secured storage facility for free. We can also deliver the unit to you upon request for a fee.
