Anastasia State Park is a scenic place for lovers of the outdoors to visit when you search for an RV in St. Johns County. The 1,600-acre state park boasts beautiful, unspoiled beaches, tidal marshes, and ancient sand dunes. Freshen up in the comfort stations, which includes showers, hot water, and washers and dryers. Another piece of history in the heart of the city is the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum. The black and white striped light tower was constructed around 1875 and stands at the northern end of Anastasia Island. To this day, the lighthouse is an active, working lighthouse. Visitors can climb the lighthouse and be rewarded with stunning views of the water. Children can enjoy the shipyard play area, and people of all ages can engage in both indoor and outdoor hands-on activities. There are also nature trails, shipwreck artifacts, and wooden boat-building demonstrations.

It has been in operation for over 100 years and is one of Florida’s oldest continuously running attractions. The park has many attractions and exhibits and offers something for people of all ages. Besides being one of the few places on the planet where you can see all living species of crocodiles, the park hosts a wide range of other animals, reptiles, birds, fossils, and more.
