North Beach Camp Resort is in St. Augustine, FL, which is on the state's far, eastern coast. The resort is actually situated on a tiny strip of land that is surrounded on one side by the Tolomato River, and on the other by the Atlantic Ocean. In some places, this peninsula is less than one mile across. This is one of the larger towns in the local area, and it sits around 40 miles southwest of the nearest larger city, Jacksonville.

Here there is a planetarium that shows off the night skies; you can also tour a model of a village from one of the many American Indian tribes that originally lived in the area. Many items that have been found at this archeological dig are on display.
