The Great Outdoors

Some of the best national forests in France are on the outskirts of Rouen, but there are some beautiful natural attractions within the city limits and nearby as well. Take Forêt de Londe-Rouvray, for example. This national forest spans hundreds of acres south of Rouen and along the banks of River Seine. The aptly named Motorhome Parking Area is a central location in Rouen that welcomes campervans. It’s within walking distance of Rouen’s center, has overnight and day parking, and offers the opportunity to meet other travelers. It doesn't have service hookups or amenities, but it’s a clean, open lot with 15 sites that could prove useful for nights when you prefer to splurge on experiences rather than accommodation.

Van away m’a permis de réaliser ma première expérience à Noël. Le California était adapté pour un long périple routier depuis Paris, jusqu’au désert espagnol des Bardenas, et un réveillon en altitude dans les Pyrénées à Guzet neige.
J’indique que le couchage haut est possible avec un bon duvet et le rayonnement continue du chauffage stationnaire réchauffant l’espace inférieur occupé par ma fille.
Les conseils de l’agence Léa et le carnet de bord permettent d’assurer sereinement la maintenance du van à chaque étape. L’esprit aventurier d’un roadtrip bien préparé et le respect des précieuses consignes permettent de vivre des moments uniques et insolites. Merci Van Away Beauvais.
