- No more than two people riding in the van while it's moving. There are only two seatbelts, so this is kind of a legal and safety thing.
- No travel outside the US - If there are any problems with the van, having to deal with international travel and laws can get expensive, so we should just avoid it
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the van, ever (ever).
- No pets, unfortunately.
- Use ONLY RV-friendly toilet paper (you can find it at Camping World, Walmart, and most RV campgrounds)
- If you break, damage, stain or loose anything, you'll be required to cover repairs and/or replacements.
- Bring it back with water in the tank (doesn't have to be full)
- Bring it back with a full tank of gas
- Bring it back with the black tank and the grey tank empty (there will be fees if we have to empty it)
- Bring it back clean, inside and out (there will be fees if we have to clean it)
- Don't put stickers on the van. That's our job! Also, please note: If you do break any of the rules above we'll have to charge extra fees. We really don't want to have to do that, so don't break any rules. Deal?

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
When you book, you'll be given a phone number for texting me, and we'll coordinate pick up and drop off. We can be pretty flexible, but we need advanced notice.
Q.
How long can the van be off grid?
A.
It really depends on how much water you're using. If there are two of you taking showers every morning, you're probably going to use up water reserves in just a couple of days. Same goes for the black tank. The more you can use facilities (or perhaps the odd bush?) outside the van, the longer you can stay off grid. There is solar and a house battery, as well as a generator for power.
Q.
How do I use the induction cooktop?
A.
The trick to an induction cooktop is that whatever you put on it needs to be able to stick to a magnet. So test your pan with a magnet to see if it will work. This also means you should be careful with putting anything on the cooktop that is magnetic, such as laptops, iPads, phones, etc. If you accidentally turn the stove on, it can fry your electronics and might start a fire.
Q.
Does the air conditioner run on the house battery?
A.
Though the AC was advertised to run on 12 volts, it really doesn't do much good on battery power (and it runs the battery down quickly). We recommend either using shore power or running the generator, if the AC is needed.
